Some singers need to know when to hang it up. Off key, bad tunes, sorry I wasted my money
This was a very poor show. TOO much talking and killing time and not enough singing. The singers were singing out of tune on many of the songs. The best part of the show was the dancing on the very last song.
Great show! Enjoyed the music. They still sounded fantastic!
They started on time and reminienced on songs I remember in the 60's. The band was great and the audience participated on stage with the group. They also recognisrd the service members and Vietnam's veteran, which I am. I took my neice and we both sang their tunes.
Very sad show. Actual Shirelle songs were okay but all others had poor/offkey harmonies. Luckily show was vert short -- only 1 hr and change.
The Shirelles were great, but the venue, terrible! It's in, what I would call, a tent. The so called seating, were those extremely, uncomfortable banquet chairs, although they did provide a 3" seat cushion. The seating was also zip tied to each other. This meant that the people that used scooters to get around, couldn't actually sit in their scooter to watch the show, the venue made the patron park the scooter off to the side and walk to the chair. Obviously, the demographic for this particular performance was not considered. The beer selection at the bar was just awful, you had a choice of two beers, thats it, and both largers. Someone in their wisdom decided to turn the AC on, which meant an already cold tent, was all of a sudden freezing. So all in all I will never go to an event at The Pavilion again. Also, the signage for The Pavilion was non existent. Worst venue I've ever been to!
Fun evening, all their hits, nice storytelling. Wish the concert would have lasted longer, left us wanting more. :)
Love this group as I grew up with their music. It was terrific seeing them in person. More of these rock acts should be a priority for the M. There was a big crowd in attendance and a good time was had by all (at least those who grew up with the Shirelles.) Only negative comment which is really picking at nits, is that there was too much talking and not enough singing....a small point but one was a subject of conversation overheard as people were exiting.
That was the worst concert i ever went to.the seat were to close to each other Touching the body next to you.they have to think about the big people not everone is small.stop be gready for money.spead out the chairs so the customers can enjoy there night.
