Everything was nice and easy. The way it was handle this time. As always in the beginning trying to buy the tickets on line was a little struggle. I kept getting kicked out until I was able to get onto the web site. From there it was easy. The show was great. The facility was ample room never felt over crowded
Mahoney Brothers, Hermit’s Hermits and especially Little Anthony and The Imperials were memorable- they alone would have made a “fabulous” show. The Spinners less so. We came to see the great hits and they did not give us that.
We have been going to theses shows for years. And this one was one of the best. Peter Noone was great!
The Mahoney Bros were very good, they sounded like the original stars, Herman's Hermits were fantastic, Little Anthony & the Imperials still can hit those high notes, the Spinners were also great.
It was exciting to watch all the vintage flashbacks of toys, commercials and history on the large screens on both sides of the stage. This really set the tone for the concert that followed. All the performances sounded great and it was a memorable night out.
The title of the Fabulous Weekend was on point! I loved every minute of the show from the opening act till the last song! Can't wait till next year.
Venue area was good. Seating was FL 5, Row O, seats 1,2. Bar was priced to industry standards- bartender was congenial & effecient. Peter Noone, Lil' Anthony, and the Spinners were outstanding. The Mahoney Bros.- not so much. Their act just was not on the same entertainment level as the other 3 acts. All told,we felt that our money was well spent on an enjoyable show and we had a great evening.
We have been attending this since 2012. There used to be far more famous groups in the past. This year, other than Peter Noone, the entertainment was weak. The ticket prices have gone up but the entertainment has diminished. It’s time for the Chamber of Commerce in Wildwood to begin seeking new acts.
From beginning to end it was truly a wonderful experience. I drove 4.5 hours one way and would do it over without hesitation or reservations. For the price I had great seats. I would even invest more next time to move up a few rows. The event started on time and the opening act took the right amount of time to get the crowd going for the feature acts. Peter Noone of Herman Hermits was entertaining as both a performer, singer and first act. Little Anthony at 80 years old was truly awesome and I will follow him up and down the East Coast. He was energetic, entertaining and performed every song you would expect and want to hear. There were standup moments when he reached and hit some of the notes that made the songs when they were hits in the 60’s and nostalgic today. Huge applause for “Little Anthony and the Imperials.” The Spinners were great and performed all their hits and a new release. The quality of the sound system was excellent and the changeovers between artists didn’t drag on. While the bar was open, I wish the concession stand had been open as well.
