Let me just get this out of the way first so there's no confusion: I had a GREAT time, and the guys were incredible. I also enjoyed the informal feel to the concert. The stories told were maybe even more fun than the concert itself. And I can't wait for the day I'm on a Southwest flight with Richie McDonald! Definitely see this show if you get the chance! Having said that, though, I must confess that I left a bit disappointed. They played the some of the biggest songs from Restless Heart, Lonestar, and Little Texas and they sounded amazing. My issue is that if I want to hear Restless Heart, Little Texas, and Lonestar songs, I have other opportunities to see those bands in concert. All three of these guys have a library of fantastic solo music and there's so rarely an opportunity to hear any of that music live, and I was expecting to hear some of those songs here. Now, I'm sure that 95% of the people at this show would have been FURIOUS had this been the case and that they got exactly what they were expecting, but I thought I'd see at least some of that, and I was disappointed that I didn't. One more thing... don't show up late. There's no opening act and they played exactly 90 minutes, with no encore.

Awesome is probably an overused description of this event but I can think of no other word to describe the evening. . Larry, Tim & Richie were all so comfortable and personable, they drew the crowd in and relived their hits. As I listened, I remembered when and where I first heard their music. Great musicians. Great performers. Great venue.

Took my wife to this thinking she'd love it and I'd get some sleep (aka, a win win). Little did I know they'd be so entertaining and have such great voices that I'd enjoy it just as much as she did.
