Television personality, author, Food Network and Netflix star Alton Brown will be heading out on his Alton Brown Live: Beyond The Eats - The Holiday Variant tour this holiday season.? He is the host of Top 10 new Netflix Iron Chef reboot "Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend."? Brown says fans can expect "more cooking, more comedy, more music, and more potentially dangerous science stuff with a sprinkle of seasonal spices. Plus, you'll see things I've never been allowed to do on TV." Critics and fans have raved about the interactive components of Brown's shows. He warns, "Prepare for an evening unlike any other and if I call for volunteers...think twice."
This was a great variety show that our whole family loved!
Full of humor, food knowledge, and music! Had a wonderful time. Security and ticket entrance was a smooth process
We really enjoyed the show! Alton was personable, funny and entertaining!
While I knew he could cook, and certainly teach… Who knew Alton Brown was such a fantastic story teller? The laughter was non stop. I’ll never look at a S’more the same again! Loved the venue, the opportunity to pre-pay parking, and, of course, the star of the show and his terrific band of merry makers. Thanks Ticketmaster, and Alton, for a FUN night!
My husband and I are fans but not die hards and weren’t sure what this show would be like. We took a chance and were pleasantly surprised. Mostly, Alton is an incredible storyteller and we loved his heartfelt and humorous recollections of his past, interwoven with music and interactive game show hilarity.
I so enjoyed the show more so than I expected! Was over too soon even tho it was a good chunk of time.
I got these tickets for my husband’s birthday. From June-August, I have had 5 surgeries and he’s taken such good care of me that I wanted him to have something I knew he’d enjoy, and he DID!! Alton was nothing short of spectacular!
Entertaining, poignant, informative, funny, and a great time was had by all!
I loved the funny stories and the wacky cooking devices. My 9-year-old daughter said the 12 unwanted gifts of Christmas song was the best song she's ever heard. She's only 9, so take that with a grain of salt. I'd love to see Alton tour with his wife next time.
Alton Brown was funny, entertaining, and even educational. His "game show" brought up volunteers from the audience. I'd watch that game show if it were on TV. I didn't know what to expect when I purchased these tickets. Will it be a cooking show? An entertainment show? A concert? An educational show? YES! to all of the above. I will buy tickets to see Alton Brown every time he comes into town!
Great show. We treated our friends who have never seen Alton Brown and the loved it. Every time that we've seen Alton Brown, he brings a new inventive way to entertain us. He has audience participation which is always funny as you never know how the volunteer will interact with Alton Brown. Highly recommend seeing his performances.
We sang songs, Alton told stories, played a game show, made wings in a jet engine, and generally had great time! My description doesn't do it justice.
The Alton Brown show that I attended with my beautiful 32 year old granddaughter was one of the most entertaining shows we’ve seen in a long time! We laughed, we sang along and laughed, and laughed! So much fun. I recommend his show to all! Best Christmas gift I’ll receive this year!
Great show! Fast moving and very entertaining! I would definitely go see Alton again!
It was an enjoyable show. I learned some food trivia and was entertained. It’s not a show I would see again but a change of pace from musical productions. Really wasn’t sure what to expect so couldn’t be disappointed. He’s a great guy… think I’ll stick to watching him on TV.
This was the second time I saw Alton Brown. Once again he did not disappoint. His humor had me either laughing or smiling throughout the whole show. My cheeks hurt after the show. The knowledge he has about food is astounding.
First, the venue of the Bob Hope Theater in Stockton is stunning, though I found the sound system echoey (I was sitting in the first balcony). The first half of the show was hilarious. The fake game show was a brilliant move. The sets were minimalist in a good way, and the projection screen well-used. The second half, completely centered on making chicken wings was tedious at times. Part of the trouble is that I had already seen the bit on Colbert’s show several months ago. Maybe if it were novel I would have been more impressed. But I had a fun evening and would see Alton Brown again.
Great show, laughed til we cried. Loved the story telling.
It was a great show! Alton never disappoints. He tries to act like he is a grump, but he is very very kind and so knowledgeable. Most people who are as knowledgeable are not very engaging, and certainly not humorous. He is all that and more. I have seen him 4 times now and have met him 3 times, and every time has been such an experience., How can you not appreciate his knowledge and his enthusiasm for sharing such knowledge?? He is an entertainer!! He blends the food science knowledge with his flair for the ridiculous, and I mean that in the most respective way. He takes science and makes it entertainment for those of us that are less informed! Alton, please don’t stop bringing your wisdom and hilarity to us! You have so many faithful supporters - but I am the most ardent!!!!!
Husband son and I saw this show and we all enjoyed it! So funny, entertaining and educational- science! A must see if it comes your way!
