I enjoyed the show without a doubt, just felt a bit brief.
For the cost of the ticket it was not even close to worth it. We had great seats and then venue was awesome. 1st comic was about 20 minutes and Jim Gaffigan was about 40 minutes and it was really not that funny. I seen his work before and he basic did the bare minimum contracted work a couple amusing stories but for $100 close seat for a show that didn't even go an hour and a half I could have been more entertained at a movie.
IT ABSOLUTELY SUCKED! I spent over $230 for 2 tickets for date night. The show started 20 min late. The opening comedian was average at best. Gaffigan was supposed to be spectacular and he was actually a dud; he seemed like he was not totally present. I have seen him before and he was good, but not this time; & he 'talked' for about 1 hr? Not many laughs. I want my money back! I will not buy overpriced tickets again for sub par entertainment.
Show started at 7:00. One comedian before Jim Gaffigan came out. The show was over at 8:35.
It was amazingly hilarious. I LOL'd basically the whole show. 10 outta 10 for sure. Definitely would see Jim Gaffigan again!
Was laughing the whole time. It was a great show. I could have listened for longer
First off it started 20 minutes late and he was on stage less than a hour
We have watched several of Jim's shows on Netflix and was so excited for an in-person show. Jim definitely seemed off, he stayed in one area through the entire 60-minute show and didn't make an effort to acknowledge the other half of the arena (we were on the floor). Not certain if his shows in Vegas last week did him in, but the laughs were few and the dialog was bland. At least we can say we went to a show, but we will wait for the Netflix specials in the future. Disappointed.
The fun Gaffigan shows of old have been replaced with sheer disappointment. Gaffigan used to be a family friendly comedian, but lately, he likes to poke fun at religion and Christianity, as well as use some profanity. Additionally, throughout the show Gaffigan just seemed as though he didn't want to be there, and abruptly ended the show after he told a joke, then said, "goodnight"and immediately left. The highlight of the show was the opening act, before Gaffigan came on stage. Wish I never had bought the tickets.
Not my brand of comedy. Liked opener more than show. Nothing inherently bad about the show got a few chuckles. Just nit what I thought.
