Not very funny
by Mike on 10/7/24Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - LedyardI like Brian a lot from prior shows. His bit last Friday night at Foxwoods was not very funny. We were respectful but not worth the price of admission.

Fan of Brian from many years ago, so was glad he’s touring. The opening act was disappointing as he was grasping for jokes, but the delivery didn’t land. Unfortunately, that set the tone for the evening as it carried on for Brian the same way. Could definitely tell he was discouraged by the crowd’s lack of reaction - he even commented on it a few times.
Brian did a good job but seemed disappointed in how the show went. The opener wasn't very good. He has a beard and it threw me off a little I was disappointed the facility security. A clearly drunk person came into the show and he never should have been let in. Instead of having him sit alone, there were empty seats they insisted he sit in the middle me and another person. He ended up grabbing the arm of the person next to him and security took him out.
I've seen him live before and have watched him on YouTube and Netflix. All his previous shows were very funny but I barely chuckled at his Foxwoods show. I drove an hour and a half each way to see him, spent my hard earned money and turns out, I shouldn't have left my livingroom.
I'm a Brian Regan fan, sprung $130 for 7th row seats at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga on 9/22/2024 because seeing his facial expressions is helpful. I particularly love his Numchucks & Flamethrowers movie on Netflix. His opening act, Steven Rogers was very funny with the same demeanor and delivery as Brian—none of his jokes fell flat. Surprised to see Brian sporting a Santa Claus beard—perhaps it's for a movie or TV show, he didn't address it. The first 30 minutes of Brian's monologue was funny but the second half fell flat for me. He did an encore of like 4 short jokes. Was glad to see him in person but left disappointed. Still a fan, however! It's a tough job!
Brian makes my stomach hurt from laughing. It was my daughter’s first show and she loved it.
This is the fourth time we’ve seen him and he never disappoints. Always very funny and has fresh new material each time. Go to his show if you can. It’s definitely worth the time and money.
We saw Brian Regan perform at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, and Brian was his HILARIOUS self! The theater didn't have a bad seat in the house, and the comedy was truly non-stop laughter. Best comedian out there for sure!
Brian never ceases to amaze! Hilarious guy!! We will see him again, that's for sure.
I’m a huge stand up comedy fan, and I have not laughed this hard in as long as I can remember. Brian’s opener, Steven Rogers, was an absolute killer for his entire set. And Brian Regan completely blew the roof off. I was laughing from the moment they started until the moment they finished. It was classic old school Brian Regan. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I wasn’t a huge fan of his last special but man oh man did he come out swinging and not miss a single beat. I would have gone three nights in a row to see the same exact sets it was THAT good.
