THE BOOK OF MORMON ON TOUR
The New York Times calls it "the best musical of this century." The Washington Post says, "It is the kind of evening that restores your faith in musicals." And Entertainment Weekly says, "Grade A: the funniest musical of all time." Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show calls it "Genius. Brilliant. Phenomenal." It's The Book of Mormon, the nine-time Tony Award?-winning Best Musical. Contains explicit language.

This production was fantastic. I know the soundtrack but the show has so much more than just great music. Especially well executed punchlines and wonderful ensemble comedy. The singing was mostly very strong (especially from the ensemble) and the acting was over the top. Stellar performance!
Great show. Cast was excellent. Music was very good. Venue not good for hearing dialog.
Ok overall. Good dancing. Music is alright. Great performers. But juvenile crude humor.
At first it seemed a bit sacrilegious, but as the plot continued in the second act, it became clear that mankind can rise above hypocrisy and demonstrate love for one another.
I had no idea what to expect, other than it was religious satire. The talent was off the charts, the lines were hilarious, the writing was daring - it was perfection. Why did it take me so long to see this??
We laughed throughout. The script and musical numbers were great. Wonderful touring cast. Our only comment is that it was advertised as mature content, and I did not review on-line past comments/reviews so I am glad we didn’t bring our 80+ year old moms. They may have been offended. Not complaining - again we enjoyed the entire show. I’m not exactly sure how to send a caution other than mature content in advertising but it may be something to consider.
How upsetting! The first act was inaudible. The second act was slightly better. Listening to surrounding neighbors at intermission, it was definitely the sound that was the problem. Very frustrating and not just for the audience but surely also for the performers. Was going to purchase season tickets, but am reluctant to do so. Why pay for a play you can’t hear? Book of Mormon was my disappointing Mother’s Day gift:(. But did listen to the sound track on the way home.
Book of Morman is by far the worst show I have ever seen. Do not waste your time and money on this profane, boring, and unfunny piece of trash.
Some of the “gags” were topics that should never be mentioned as a form of entertainment.
