Titanic - the Artifact Exhibition Tickets

What is it about traveling exhibits which come to Atlanta that they are small in size and disappointing in scope? The King Tut exhibit didn't even have one of the 14 sarcophagi to show us. And now the Titanic exhibit which had maybe 200 items on display, and that's counting 2 cuff links and 4 shirt studs as a total of 6. Las Vegas had a much larger event. Other cities have had much larger Titanic events. Not so Atlanta? The reconstruction of the First Class suite was laughably not first class. A wall, and some furniture dropped in to take up space? Cheap and tawdry. Not at all representative of the choicest rooms on the ship. The posters on the walls were informative, but sadly, they were a very major part of the exhibit. The young people who were guides and hosts were well-trained and did good jobs. The best piece of the exhibit was the model of the bow of the ship as it lays on the floor of the Atlantic. Exhibitors have gotten me twice with these "major" events coming to Atlanta. They won't get me the third time because they have "fooled me twice." Shoot, even the offerings in the gift shop were underwhelming.

This event is way over priced and its over in just a few minutes. We went to one at the GA aquarium. It was amazing. Very long and less expensive. I could of saved my money.

Gave a great perspective on the disaster. See the artifacts really was amazing. Wish there was a lot more artifacts and more to see. I think the boiler room display should have been actual size to give the true sense of how large they really are. It is still difficult to image the scale of the ship. Would love to see more. Great exhibit overall.

This was an experience that I will never forget. To go to the Titanic exhibit on the 100 anniversary of the sinking was amazing. My 7 year old daughter was as moved as I was. It will be a memory that we will share for the rest of our lives. I can't wait to go again.

It was great to see the detailed display of artifacts and history of the Titanic on the 100th anniversery of it's sinking. To see actual items that were in the Titanic was interesting, and really bought the history home. I would recommend this to a friend.

We REALLY enjoyed the Titanic Exhibition. Lots of artifacts and detailed information on the ship and the people on it. Very personal!

I was so fortunate to visit the exhibition on the 100th anniversary and the experience was magical. It was wonderful taking in all of the artifacts while learning about some of the passengers. It was set up in a way that made it personal which I really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend anyone interested in the story of Titanic check this out, you will not be disappointed!

My youngest son is a huge Titanic fan, both the movie, and every library book he can find on the subject, so I thought we'd take an "educational" trip down to Atlantic Station on the tail end of Spring Break, and see the show. For $80 for one adult, one teenager, and one child, I expected an immersion experience. I got placards on walls, and a few trinkets in glass cases, incessant piped overloud music, and had to pay extra for an audio device that mostly repeated the placards. It didn't help that maintenance was working in the entrance area putting molding down, either.

I took my 6 year old grandson to the exhibit as he is totally into the whole Titanic 100th anniversary. While I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibit and found the artifacts incredible to view, the set-up of the exhibit was very "museum-like"; and, my grandson found it utterly boring as nothing except the "what does 28 degrees Fahrenheit feel like" display was hands-on. The exhibit would be interesting to anyone over 10+ years old; I'd leave the little ones at home for this one.

Expected to see more things that were personal items of the crew or passengers. Although it was ok, I would spend the money to see portholes of a ship. This is a walk through exhibit and we saw everything in 30 minutes. Not recommended.

From what I'd read, I expected to see more. The exhibits didn't match the preview photos ( no stacks-of-china photo with re-creation of that scene in display box ... NO third-class accommodation re-creation). It was nice to see the first-class cabin, but it was only so-so. At the price charged, we should've been able to find more than 45 minutes' worth of items to see. Also, take care in gift shop. Two books have different titles, but essentially the same content. What a rip-off.

The staff was so helpful and the displays were so informative. The whole experience, from beginning to the end, was an experience everyone should be a part of.
