This show was wonderful. So interesting to learn about Tina’s life and her perseverance through challenging and heartbreaking events in her youth, her marriage to Ike and her early career. Tina’s resilience is second to none. Pair all of that with the amazing singing and dancing and you have a show that was both informative and entertaining. Above and beyond the amazing show, the usher for aisle 3,(Lakecia), was exceptionally gracious and kind to each person she assisted. The group I was with commented on the fact that her positive attitude contributed greatly to the attitudes of everyone in the sections where she assisted people. At one point, the people around our seats started clapping in appreciation to her. She is truly a person who loves her job and makes the most of it.
It was so well written and portrayed by all the actors. Bravo!!!
Theatre staff was friendly. Ticketing system makes entry easy. Beautiful theatre and we loved the show!
We cried, we laughed and we cried again. Very emotional and the entire cast was outstanding.
We loved this show it told Tina’s life in such detail which we really enjoyed. I learned a few things that I didn’t know. What a performance by Zurin Villanueva I think she will be nominated for a Tony. The show was inspirational and energetic. I can’t say enough about it. I made a post on Facebook telling everyone to see it when they can across the world.
The story, the cast, the singing and the dancing were absolutely fabulous! Loved it! 5 STARS
The musical was terrific! The cast and crew did a wonderful job. After the show was over, some of the cast performed a few more Tina Turner songs and had the audience rocking along! Would definitely recommend this for anyone over 16 years old as there is physical violence and some sexual scenes.
Show was amazing. Captured her life, was entertaining, and emotional.
Always a great hotel when we plan for the weeknd in downtown for theater. Front desk is extremely cordial and welcoming All spaces are cleaned and well sanitized. The rooms are well appointed and large for the downtown area. Hotel is quiet and security is good in the evening about letting people in. Parking can be pricey but if you use Spot hero you can get it for 20 bucks. The breakfast buffet is really nice and well appointed with multiple selections of hot food as well as a cold cereal, fruit yogurt bagels, etc.. g eat facility!
