The Secret Sisters Tickets

Killer backup band and beautiful harmonies were offset by a mix that at times rendered the vocals muddy or too loud. When the sisters sang without the band, or when they talked between songs, the sound was fine, but when they played with the band, whose instrumentation was beautiful, some of the vocals were hard to pick out. We were sitting to the side, which may have been part of the problem, but we weren't far from the sound guy. A little less talking between songs would have improved things, too.

3rd time we’ve seen the Secret Sisters and enjoy them more every time. And the Birchmere is a perfect venue for them!

Lydia and Laura are even better in person (than their recordings). I never dreamed that could be possible! Just superb musicians and lyricists! If you love beautiful harmonies find a ticket and go!!

We've been fans of Striking Matches since we first saw them with Ashley Monroe. They are great guitarists and song writers - very entertaining! This was our first time seeing Secret Sisters but we were very impressed. Great harmonies and funny banter between the sisters - it was great music and lots of fun!

Both acts were wonderful! I bought tickets on a whim after realizing that the Striking Matches wrote songs for the TV show Nashville, and am so happy about that decision! What talented musicians, and the Birchmere is the best venue in the area. I just bought the whole album on iTunes!

This is my second time seeing the Secret Sisters at The Birchmere. The girls have such amazing raw talent! I also love the Birchmere, its a very small and intimate venue.
