Gillian Welch & David Rawlings Tickets

We attended Robert Plant/Allison Krause at the Pinewood bowl in Lincoln, as well as Lauren Daigle at pinnacle Lincoln, Joe Bonamassa at the orpheum Omaha ( horrible experience as they botched our seat reservations and I will never patronize ticket Omaha again ), Lucinda Williams at the old Sokol hall ( incredible concert, dump of a venue ), and Marty Stuart at IWCC ( a close 2nd ), but Gillian/Rawlings was the best! Incredible venue and acoustics, and three encores!! It was a magical night!

David is a wizard. Gillian is an angel. Together they are simply amazing.

This was an amazing concert. Gilllian Welch and David Rawlings filled up the theater with perfect harmonies and stunning instrumentals. I never expect an acoustic group to sound as perfect as their recordings but this show was flawless. At the same time they gave the audience so much energy and emotion. Loved it!

Gillian and David were great! The Astro theater is a terrible venue though. It’s just a concrete box so sound echoes and sounds horrible. Plus the staff is walking around with walkie talkies the whole time and rolling trash barrels through in the middle of the show. That’s why real theaters have walls and sound proofing between the lobby and theater. I hope I never go there again.

Gillian and David were 20 minutes late due to a miscommunication of the start time. They apologized and more than made up for it with a super show and two encores. My only complaint is that we were forced to get tickets on the phone with no option to have paper tickets or tickets e-mailed that we could print out. This is inconvenient and I will think twice about attending future shows if there are no other options for getting tickets.

I can't remember when I saw a better show. 3 encores and if the lights didn't come back on, we'd still be there begging for more. Incredible show!

They are a "won't fail"show. Always on top of their game!

It was an excellent show! Loved the sing along at the end.
