THE OAK RIDGE BOYS IN CONCERT:
The Oak Ridge Boys' timeless country and gospel classics may date back to the World War II era, but the band is still a force to be reckoned with in the 21st century. Their showmanship is unstoppable -- whether they're playing oldies like "Elvira" or the smash-hit "Leaving Louisiana In the Broad Daylight," they always keep the energy high at their live shows with perfect harmonies and tight fingerpicking. It's been over 50 years since the Oak Ridge Boys first performed together, and their voices are still sharp as ever as they treat fans to their gospel-infused country tunes on the 2014 Boys Night Out tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The Oak Ridge Boys' founding member Wally Fowler started the band in 1949, recruiting an existing group called the Calvary Quartet to perform with him as the Oak Ridge Quartet. As a nod to their country gospel roots, the quartet changed their name to the Oak Ridge Boys, and their career took off from there. The group has had several personnel changes over the course of their tenure, but that hasn't stopped them from producing hit after hit during their decade-spanning career. The Oak Ridge Boys have released 31 studio albums -- a number of which have reached gold certification or higher -- and over 30 Top 10 singles, an enormous feat for the world-renowned country quartet. With numerous Grammy, Dove, CMA, and ACM Awards under their belt, the Oak Ridge Boys are truly a one-of-a-kind act. After over 60 years of touring together, the group is set to delight fans once again with a string of highly anticipated shows.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

We had a great time at the concert. They really had a way of getting the audience on their feet & having a good, fun time.
Oaks always deliver a wonderful show. Crowd was into the show from the moment they appeared on stage until they departed.
The band did a lot of their top songs. They looked great, sounded great... all and all we had a blast. Thanks for a great evening.
Loved the original Oak Ridge Boys. This year’s version is way past their prime. It was sad to see and hear them Saturday (6/29/24).
We enjoyed the concert. I am an Oak Ridge Boys fan and it was the first time i seen them live. I enjoyed the performance.
These men are so passionate about their singing and entertainment, it shows the minute they walk out. Love watching William Lee run around the stage and just the energy he has. It was sad to know that Joe Bonsall had to step down, but his replacement has really done a remarkable job transitioning into the job and learning all there is to know about the routine. I would follow these men to all their performances if it was possible, but I will go see them when the come back to my area. Traveling about 3 - 4 hours is doable. Thank you Oak Ridge Boys.
Group formed in 1964. We are in 2024. Doing the simple math they have been performing for 60 years!! Further doing the math that puts them all in their 80's!! WHAT ENERGY THEY ALL STILL HAVE (we are saddened to hear their tenor is recently wheelchair bound and could not perform).
I am 58 yrs old and grew up listening to "real Country music". Those men kick butt! I knew every word to every song! I sat in the front row and sang, danced, cried shaking hands with such legends. It was the night before my Birthday and truly a night I will hold dear to my heart forever. I pray these amazing gentlemen had a blessed retirement ?? ??
Concert was very good, but only 1.25 hours. I did not like the replacement singer. He harmonized well with the group. But his solos were awful. He sounded like a cartoon character.
