Amazing talent and was fun watching the movie on a big scene with the CPO playing.
The orchestra was amazing!! The only problem is that the movie dialogue and sound effects overpowered the orchestra. It felt too much like a movie theater where as I would have loved to just listen to the orchestra with the lights and attention on them. Shouldn’t that be what we were there for?
First class entertainment. Great intro to the wonders of the orchestra in a non intimidating setting.

Absolutely brilliant performance. Timing, execution and exquisite sound all made this show 5/5. Well done.
I love that the guest conductor took a few minutes to explain how these movie scores usually work and give us his history working with John Williams! I was shocked to learn that these movie scores are usually recorded just a couple hours after and sometimes minutes after the band receives the sheet music for the first time. Incredible!
This was incredibly fun. The conductor told us at the beginning to be noisy and reactive to what we were seeing on screen, which led to many boos when Darth Vader first appeared on screen and a big WHOOP and lots of cheering when the Death Star blew up. I had a blast and have already bought my ticket for the next one. Highly recommend!!
Excellent music and sound, loved the performance!! Took photos with the characters in costume which was awesome!!
The score of this movie is so incredible and to have it in the forefront like this was amazing. I didn't realize that only about 20% of the movie is dialogue only, the other 80% has music. The orchestra was amazing and it was so inspiring to hear the familiar refrains played live. The conductor did a great job of giving us permission to cheer and boo and there was much cheering each time a new main character come on screen or the iconic phrases were spoken for the first time. I felt sorry for those who left early to best the crowds the music during the credits was the best of the entire show and I had goosebumps listening to it. My advice...do not leave early!
