Rockford Symphony Orchestra Tickets

Yaniv Attarl is an outstanding conductor. The RSO is an extraordinary organization particularly we are a city of 150000 folks. The French Connection concert was yet again an amazing example of the collaboration between maestro and orchestra. The innovative programing and soloist selection causes one to learn and think in addition to listening. It reinforces the wonder of live performance-- you don't have to even like the selected piece but can still enjoy the experience of listing when you understand some background and appreciate the quality of musicianship. Please treat yourself to a concert!

I have never been to a Holiday Pops concert before, but if Kevin Stites is involved, I will be back again next year! The very interesting pieces of music, along with the addition of all the choirs and dialogue, made for a lovely Holiday evening. As I understood from many of the attendees, this concert under Stites’ direction was more developed and entertaining than in years’ past. Bravo to the RSO for letting him try new and wonderful things. It was a truly entertaining evening!

My wife and I had aisle seats toward the back of the lower level. Two women arrived late and it was very evident that they had been drinking and they were carrying in drinks. They had seats 3 & 4. We got up and let them in. My wife was the one in seat two and the person next to her was belching up her liquor and the smell of smoke was also strong. One of the two asked to leave right after it was announced that the concert was playing their last song before intermission. Up we got again. The other woman left at the intermission. They both came back before intermission ended. As the 2nd half began, the women got up again and left! After a time they once again returned. Up we got again. They stayed put for most of the 2nd half, but at mention of the last musical piece of the night, they got up to leave again - luckily for the last time. Perhaps an announcement right before the concert begins of what behavior should be at a concert. Perhaps watch who is consuming liquor drinks at event. IDK, but it was the one rotten part of a beautiful concert!!

Convenient and decently priced parking right across street. Everyone was so kind and courteous . Absolutely fantastic performances, music and the theater was STUNNING!!

Absolutely loved our first time at Holiday Pops! Orchestra and choirs were fantastic! Will definitely go again!!

They played 2 short pieces that were new to me- interesting, a little quirky, then launched into the best version of Beethoven’s 5th I’ve ever heard- fast, sharp, moving. Very impressive start for our new conductor.

The concert was great. There was variety, facts we learned about the Boston Pops, composers and such. It was a great evening shared with family.

Downloading the Ticketmaster app was easy. Ordering the Rockford Symphony Orchestra was also easy and checking in with the tickets on the app was a breeze. Will be utilizing the TM app on all our future ticket purchases.

The concert was amazing, especially the violin and cello soloists. The new director is very expressive in his style and fun to watch. All in all, it was a great experience and we look forward to many more in the future. Kudos to the selection committee!

Maestro Stites seems to bring out the best of the RSO. Please have him back again and again
