I had seen Shawn perform in Indianapolis, IN around 2003, and three more times ending in about 2014 with two other Elvis impersonators at a high school auditorium. The performance was so professional and had the Elvis original drummer and singers. The scenery, change of costumes and background were spectacular and so were each of the performers. I was expecting the same, 10 years later, but there was none of the above and the stage was plain and Shawn did not have on the Elvis makeup he wore before. I am not going to judge Shawn harshly because I know he recently lost his wife, he has been through a lot emotionally, and he has had to perform out of country extensively, plus he is 10 years older than when I last saw him. I just thought he looked exhausted, though he was doing his best, but in comparing it to what I saw over 10 years ago, there is no comparison. I am giving him a lot of praise for even performing, but, it is not what he could help and I will not critisize him for any part of it. He did a good job singing and if he were to perform there or anyplace else locally, I would still attend. I know he did the best he could, and it was good.
I was very excited for this show as I heard that Shawn was the #3 rated Elvis tribute person. The show started late and he only sang for less than 90 minutes. I could not hear his voice over the band which did a good job. I won’t be running back to see this show again in the future.
I was never an Elvis fan but I love Sean Klush. I've seen him 4 times. He does not disappoint. I love to hear him sing "How Great tho Art"Elvis would be envious of Sean's voice. Belteria doesn't have the greatest seating to see stage Go see him if in doubt
Shawn Klush is remarkable, and the finest Elvis Presley tribute artist in the world. If you are thinking of going, do so, you won't have any regrets!
Shawn Klush totally captures the vibe of the Elvis concert years....there's a reason why he is the number one guy. The venue however, leaves a lot to be desired. Horrible seating at Belterra Indiana-had to stand the entire show to be able to see anything. My take would be -sit in the balcony ! Event staff also not friendly, despite an awareness of the poor seating situation. 5 stars given for the performer-if I could rate the venue, I'd give it a 3.
It was fantastic He really imitated and sounded like The King. Everyone really got their money worth because he sang one after another. Only complaint is that everyone was able to go up to the stage and interup the show. Wrecked it for the front row and people in back waiting for him to continue the show, but I am sure it's what happened to ELVIS!! I definitely would recommend the show and go again
he always does the best shows. i would definitely see him again at the casino
he always does the best show i definitely would love to see him again at the casino
Shawn Klush continues, after all these years, to be the closest we will all get to experiencing Elvis. Go see him whenever you can! But, Mohecan Sun Wilkes-Barre should have thought more about the venue. The stage was too low for visibility, especially since the audience's seating was all one level - all 2000 seats! I have been to other Indian casinos where the sections of seats have been on graduated risers. That would have made this show a 5 star!
