So, So
by Rudolph on 12/6/23West Herr Auditorium Theatre at West Herr Performing Arts Center - RochesterIt was cute. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was not a broadway production by no stretch of the imagination. Would not go back.

The beloved TV classic RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER soars off the screen and onto the stage this holiday season. Come see all of your favorite characters from the special including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and, of course, Rudolph, as they come to life in RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER: THE MUSICAL. It’s an adventure that teaches us that what makes you different can be what makes you special. Don’t miss this wonderful holiday tradition that speaks to the misfit in all of us. Based on the animated television special “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and the stage production directed and conceived by Jeff Frank and First Stage. Script adaptation by Robert Penola. Arrangements by Timothy Splain. Orchestrations by William C. White. The performance of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is 75 minutes with? intermission.?

What a beautiful venue first off! The play was amazing the scenery was beautiful and the singing was amazing! Loved it! Was just like watching the movie live! Grandchildren loved it!
Such a wonderful show for kids. My 4 year old LOVED it. Our 2 year old almost sat still the whole time but that’s her age!! It was fabulous. Very well done.
I took my 3 year old for his first show to Rudolph and he was amazed! It was perfect for him and just the right length!
The musical was fantastic. It was enjoyable for all ages and it was just like the old movie! Very well done!
Fun for the whole family. Well done. Our 6 year old grandson loved it.
5 adults at Rudolph the musical and we had a blast! We loved that the music and even the voices were very close to the original. Also a plus that we could purchase alcohol and bring it in. Feel like there should have been more advertising because it wasn’t very full on Friday evening!
Absolutely adorable! Bring the kids ! Or just adults will have a warm heart when they leave ????
The venue (West Herr Auditorium) or RBTL should tell people that there are no elevators to the upper floors!! I have mobility issues and walk with a cane - up THREE STORIES to our balcony seats!!! Then…up another bit to our seats with NO RAILING…it was tough!!! I was so worried about how I was going to get down that I couldn’t relax and enjoy the show!
What a great show. Everything was on point. Costumes were adorable. BUMBLES ...so cute !!! Hope this will be a regular show in rochester to add to our holiday tradition
