ELF The Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner ELF.
The New York Times says that ELF is “SPLASHY, PEPPY, SUGAR-SPRINKLED HOLIDAY ENTERTAINMENT!” USA Today calls ELF, “ENDEARINGLY GOOFY!” Variety proclaims, “ELF is happy enough for families, savvy enough for city kids and plenty smart for adults!”
Based on the beloved 2003 New Line Cinema hit, ELF features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer), with a book by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone).

Very nice musical for the holidays. Great acting and dancing.
It was a talented cast, especially enjoyed the mother and Michael. I was disappointed that it lost much of the humor from the movie. It became too much of a musical and not a comedy.
The lead was fantastic and made the show Very well done!
I would not recommend Elf the musical to anyone. I was obsessed with the movie and to me the play was barely elf. The story lines didn’t match and there was never any drama as the movie did. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
To be honest, it was mediocre. I was hoping the relationship between Jovie and Buddy would have been a bit more in depth. The innuendos were unnecessary and the sound was poor quality. You could barely hear the singers overall. It seemed as though they cut the story short in the parts that made the story good. I wouldn’t recommend anyone paying as much as you are charged to go see this.
I’m a 300lb man sitting in the seats was horrible. I also thought the musical seemed to be put on by high school students it wasn’t very good the set wasn’t great the perfomance was lackluster. Left at intermission.
Well done. Talented cast. “Buddy” was great! Some adult innuendos but really more of a children’s musical. Was ready for it to be over.
There was 11 of us from age 70 to age 8 and everyone gave a big thumbs up!!!!
I liked where I sat. It was very accessible! The ushers were very helpful. The play, itself, was very well done! I’d see it again
