Prairie Home Companion Tickets

I finally made it to my favorite live radio show. It only took me 50 yrs and I had my son RJ as my date. Everything was wonderful!!! From the audience singing the Everly Brothers songs, to the Beatles and My Country Tis of The. The conversation with “Mom” and her eye ball popping out. The news from Lake Wobegone, and Garrison’s warm, calming, whispering voice?? Oh how I miss miss miss!!! Lake Wobegone and all the towns people??????Thank You Garrison ?????? Thank you for a Wonderful Evening. PS. I haven’t seen my son laugh so hard in so long. Plus you mad me snort with laughter. God Bless you Dear Dear Friend??

The venue was wonderful, the staff was extremely helpful in seating, the check-in process was easy, and it was a great program. Brought back a lot of memories from prior attendance at Prairie Home Companion programs.

Outstanding show! Garrison maybe 81 but you’d never know from the quality of this performance. Outstanding back up singers, musicians and cast.

Sat in the first row in the balcony. Instrument mics were great, vocal mics did not come out to clear in the balcony. You could tell by crowd reaction between the main floor and balcony

Keillor did the whole old radio show...........and we finally got to see it in person! It was sooooo good with all the familar staff and fabulous musicians. All the soloists were super! The harmonica guy was so talented! The vocals were all done without "notes"as were all the poems and short schticks from the radio show. Sorry it was only one night here in Chicago. I would have gone back with friends who didn't want to believe an 80 something year old could still do the show. We laughed the most and sang a lot and clapped a lot with the other 3000 "guests"in the beautiful Chicago Theater. Thank you to Garrison Keillor for the best entertainment around!

The show was great! Glad I went. Great old theatre.

I've never been a huge fan, but this show was like being in the audience of the old show complete with "Ketchup", great sound effects and News from Lake Woebegone. Keillor is 81 now, and showed his age every so often. My husband has ALWAYS been a fan, and he thought the show was wonderful. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

If your ears enjoyed listening to PHC on the radio, with all its tunes, skits, and hijinks, now add your eyes to enhance the fun. 3-D Garrison Keeler was in top form along with the rest of the cast. Go! It’s good clean fun (remember that art form?) without reverting to insults, shock, or belittling. I’m ready to go again…next week.

Great to see Garrison and the entire group reassembled on the stage. They had all the old routines, e.g., Ketchup, Lake Woebegone, Powder-milk Biscuits, etc., except for Guy Noir and Bee-Bop-A—Ree-Bop Rhubarb Pie. The English Majors were the funniest ever. And, of course, the sound-effects were legendary!

It was so great to be able to see the show live in person! Garrison Keillor at 81 years old still did a great job!
