My kids and I have seen this show twice now, and it's incredibly inspiring and engaging. The performers are incredibly talented, and we loved the acceptance vibe and inclusiveness. It was largely the same program from the first to the second one, so that would be my prime complaint and my autistic son asked to leave early since we had seen a number of the same performances the last time we came.
Great Circus - Great performers -Great Story - And overall Great Support for Possibilities! I plan to attend just to support this Troop whenever they are in town.
This was a really fun event. I think it was wonderful to see people with all types of abilities perform. It was really inspiring to all of the attendees, many of whom had different physical abilities.
I was impressed with all the acts and the message that we can attain whatever our imagination takes us if we persevere and have the courage. I would recommend all to attend. It was very well done!
Great event for all. Kids loved it and it was an overall enjoyable experience.
Enjoyed Omnium as it successfully employs a broad group of challenged artists. Capital One Hall was wonderful to experience as well.
The venue is really nice. The circus itself was not very good. Very amateurish. I would not recommend.
Lovely theater (our first time there) (although they have some kinks to work out in terms of getting the attendees into the space efficiently. (At least partly a Ticketmaster issue I think - didn't work when put into apple wallet so had to bring up tickets on ticketmaster website instead which slowed things down.) Took us half an hour to gain entry. Show had to start late due to crowds still at the door at showtime. Performances were good but not outstanding. We have attended a lot of circus over the years. Performers did a good job (although a lot of mistakes (juggler dropped items, etc) but the format was perfunctory circus style - one performer at a time with increasing difficulty of tricks. No drama. No anticipation building. Could have been done much more creatively for example by intertwining the various performers. The overarching "story" was not compelling nor particularly well told. The "Narrator" not the strongest actor or singer. Kids seemed to enjoy. Nice that it was so inclusive for both the performers and the attendees. Some more creative staging would have gone a long way to improve. The clowns (an older man and woman team) were totally endearing.
It was a joyful inclusive experience with terrific and varied performance. Makes me believe in a better world
My husband and I loved every minute! The costumes were incredible, the story was inspiring, and the performances were breathtaking! It was a joy and a privilege to see such an inclusive show, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity! There really was a bit of everything in the various acts: suspense, laughs, sexy romance, joy! So wonderful!
