A thrilling interpretation of the well-known classic poem "A Visit from Saint Nicholas", this joyful show about the virtues of generosity and friendship promises to leave a lasting impression on families this holiday season. 'Twas the Night Before..., Cirque du Soleil's first-ever holiday production, is a whirlwind of love, holiday cheer, riotous fun, and adorably endearing characters that will establish a new tradition for families to treasure.
I have been to at least 20 Cirque shows, and this was one of my favorites. Not too many clowns!
Absolutely spectacular. I enjoyed the show from beginning to end. The music was outstanding as well.
Bought the tickets for my parents and myself for a Christmas treat! Saw that it was a Cirque de Soleil performance so could not wait to be wowed! The whole show was amazing, so cool to see all these talented people with the fun details of Christmas sprinkled throughout! We had seats in the 2nd level, pretty could view since it was a smaller theater but will buy closer seats next time! Definitely would go again, thank you for the experience!
I felt (and my husband agreed) this performance was just plain boring and lack luster and did not measure up to the Cirque du Soleil reputation. This is my personal opinion and I would never recommend it. However, I'm happy for the individuals and families that enjoyed this production.
Show was okay. Plot didn’t make much sense. And geared to kids so many there but venue didn’t seem the cleanest.
We came to NY for the 1st time Christmas 2023. Me, my husband, our 17yo son and 20yo daughter. I paid almost $160/per ticket. Yes it was entertaining but it was NOTHING like the acrobatics and aerial stuff they advertise. The stage is too small for this phenomenal crew to really shine with all the talents they have! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Most cirque shows have plenty of wow, along with moments of mind bending surprise and delight. This production seemed to be the exception and appeared to be done on a shoestring. I wouldn't recommend this production. The venue on the other hand was stunning. It was probably the only part I enjoyed was seeing the inside of the venue in all its glory. The show was a complete let down and waste of time.
The show itself was great, with a sweet father reconnects with jaded daughter story and excellent acts. I mean, I live in Las Vegas, and have seen many Cirque shows, but this brought new stuff to the table. The Diabolo act where they spun around the two audience members was so magical! Alas, the venue's low ceilings prevented the show from immersing you and didn't make you feel like you were inside the story, which I presume was supposed to take us on the journey through the daughter's eyes.
Awful show. Not the quality we were used to with Cirque shows in the past. So disappointing and amateurish. Not worth the money.
It's hard to spend a lot of money on shows for the family, especially if you're not even sure they will enjoy it.... This show was the perfect way to introduce my kiddo to the world of Cirque du Soliel. Not too long, a storyline he could relate to, and not too serious. A little slow in the beginning, but once the action picked up, he was mesmerized! Tickets were reasonable (compared to other cirque shows or other holiday events in our area). Theater was small enough that almost every seat was a good one.
