New Year's Eve Party Tickets

Our NYE plans got cancelled so this was a last minute decision. So glad we went!!! The venue was nice and spacious, climate controlled very well. They had a buffet of snacks and they were delicious. Also, they replenished frequently throughout the night. The dance floor was plenty big for everyone to get their groove on, and the DJ played a great variety of music to keep the party going. They had plenty of tables set up with NYE decorations. The one thing I would suggest they consider is adding a second bar. Those poor girls worked their butts off as there was a continuous line all night! But they were awesome! Singing and dancing as they served us our tasty, WELL PRICED bevs! All in all, we had a great time ringing in the new year!

From the moment we lined up for this event the Golden Nugget AC did a great job! They scanned our tickets ahead a time, provided cocktails on a timely basis and basically ran a smooth event. The Exceptions band was Excellent! Great dancing music our group had lots of fun! We will definitely be returning next year. Great venue, Great entertainment! Who could ask for more?

I thought the event was good. Only a few things I would change. First, I would of let the crowd know that there were only 15 min or 10 min left in 2013 so they could get their champagne, second, I wouldn't charge for a champagne toast at Midnight. Third, I would have at least had the band know exactly when midnight was coming so everyone could get prepared instead of a chaotic last ten seconds where no one knew exactly what was going on. Especially for the people who were engrossed in the music, they had no idea what time it was and there were people upset that they did not get to get champagne and be ready for the countdown.

Glad we went. We had a wonderful time. The place was beautiful. Only disappointment we had was their wasn't any origination with distributing the orderves. We also had the wrong change given back to us twice after purchasing drinks.

There is no doubt that the romantics can play their instruments but really? People want to go out for New Years and have a rememberable time, not to stand around listening to all old time music, they want to dance and have fun. We ended up at the bar with the DJ and had a blast and danced. It was my first time going out on New Years Eve and Im 48 years old. I'd give a 3 out of 10 for this event.

While the Romantics are a great band I don't think they were the right choice for this event. The crowd was a mix and the music should have been too. No one danced because no one knew most of the songs. Could have been a killer party if the band was an 80's cover band. Light hors douvres should NEVER mean chips and salsa!! VERY disappointed in the food. Will only come next year if the entertainment is more suited to the crowd. The new casino is great, although I'm not a gambler it would still be a fun place to get a drink.

It was fun, a little confusing on how to find different bars, views and rooms but all in all good.

We had a lot of fun. The different rooms varied in the size of the room and the size of the crowd. The music was the same in all of the rooms. I recommend this NYE party to anyone who likes dance clubs because there was a dance floor in every room and each one was full of people dancing. I thought the price of $55 was reasonable compared to other NYE parties around KC. There were plenty of restrooms in various locations and never a line- even for the ladies. The only complaints I have are 1. there was an additional fee for the coat check. And 2. the cups at the bar were WAY TOO SMALL. It could really help eliminate long lines at the bar if the cups took longer than 5 minutes to drink. As soon as we were out of line it was nearly time to get in the back of the line and go through again.

To cold in the rooms on 1st floor due to the doors opening and closing constantly-TOO CROWDED-TOO LONG WAITS AT BARS-TOO LOUD-should have at least one lounge with quieter music so to carry on a conversation without screaming! Food was spilled all over floor and steps-perhaps NO FOOD OUT OF THE AREA WHERE BEING SERVED? Just basically a "drunk" fest with no organization.

The event is perfect for those looking to party it up with hundreds of people they don't know. So, if you're looking for a more personal experience, consider throwing your own party. I'm not sure I got my money's worth in alcohol. They charge too much ($5) for coat check, which should be free considering the ticket price. Also, taxis are hard to get ahold of after the party, so it's best to arrange in advance for transportation.
