Outstanding!!!
by AJ on 9/30/24It was an outstanding show! They sang all their songs, New Edition, Bobby Brown, Bell Biv and Devoe, and Johnny Gill. They all looked and sounded great especially Ralph! I am trying to see them again!

Style and charisma never go out of fashion, and legendary R&B group New Edition is a case in point. Paving the way for the boy band movement of the '80s and '90s with their meticulously coordinated image and tight vocal interplay, Bobby Brown and company continue to be the stuff of teen dreams, bringing audiences to their feet for a trip down memory lane at their dazzling live shows. Reunited (and it feels so good, ) the band's six original members hit the road in 2014 for a much-anticipated tour, treating fans to their finely-tailored threads and hits like "Candy Girl" and? "Cool It Down."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Boston in 1978, New Edition hit the big time with their 1983 debut album Candy Girl, landing three singles on the charts and becoming an overnight sensation with their boyish charm and carefully crafted image. Their self-titled 1984 sophomore album was an even bigger hit, topping the R&B chart on the strength of era classics like "Cool It Now" and "Mr. Telephone Man." The band's success in the mid-'80s was so considerable that it launched Bobby Brown to solo career stardom, with several other members finding success as spinoff group Bell Biv DeVoe in the '90s. Over the years New Edition has released seven studio albums, weathering hiatuses and reunions, but have rarely been joined by Brown in concert, making his presence on their 2014 tour all the more special.

by SAllen on 9/17/24When I say I love seeing New Edition in the smaller venue, I would take it anytime over the big arenas, now don’t get me wrong I will see them anywhere but it’s something about the up close and personal show that does it for me. They give a great show from start to finish. I have made it to a show on each leg of the residency and will see them for the third time in November, because they are just that good! Oh and the M&G is all that as well.

There is an ability NE and their team has for taking a familiar material new and fresh every time that can't be denied. The venue was great! There are a few shows remaining and I would highly recommend and may attend again myself!

The guys still have it! They did not disappoint. I relived my childhood. My favorite has always been Ralph and he still got it! I truly loved the show and would attend it again and again!
