It was a wonderful show, I seen the first one in Toronto…
Such an amazing evening of entertainment!!! It was nonstop laughter from beginning to end. Being 70 years old I could certainly relate with the content of the show. I am so grateful to be able to enjoy shows like this with friends who can relate also. The ending of the show was fabulous with Shania Twain's song, "I Feel Like A Woman"!!! The entire audience participated!!! This is one show you don't want to miss!!! I would certainly go again!
Excellent. Loved the first one but this was even better. Hope they have a third. Laughed all the way thru it
Great actors, songs were spot on, wanted more. Ticketmaster made it easy to purchase tickets. Parking was next door for some cars and there were some street parking but the area is not equipped for a lot of vehicles. There were no signs for parking. The Stanley Theatre in Utica, NY is not equipped for sound in the upper level. It was hard to hear the words even though the actors had microphones. It was also hard to see the actors from above as they moved around the stage. Speakers should be placed in the upper level as well as putting up a screen on one side or the other to see their movements. Also entering the theatre was not great with four lines converging to two into the lobby where it was bedlam. no playbills were given out and you had to hunt for an usher. Overall, the play was great but other things should be looked at.
A slow start, but then picked up. We did enjoy it, but felt it would present better in a smaller venue.
The show was good but I was expecting more of a story along with the music.
We (11) in total had a great time..the mood was set in the lobby, the disc jockey was playing some fantastic tunes, the staff getting us thru the line were very engaging.. the entertainment was very good, all the actresses were bang on…hysterical - could of listened to them all night, but all good things must come to an end.. once again in the lobby we all stopped to have a small dance party, great music! YES, we will be back..
Cast did a great job, just wasn’t as funny as I was thinking it would be.
The actors were terrific, the singing great and some of the lines were hysterical!!! What we could hear we thoroughly enjoyed the humour and the wit! Unfortunately the sound system was very uneven in that at times it was so low you couldn’t hear what she was singing/saying. The lighting was often poor - with the actors often in partial or full darkness.
I saw the original Menopause, and it was a laugh out loud show...I LOVED it...however, Menopause 2 was not as funny. I enjoyed it, but it was smiles, not out loud belly laughs...I was disappointed as I expected the same enjoyment as the original
