Mary Poppins Tickets

I was excited to go to the Stanley to see Mary Poppins. I knew the Stanley was built a long time ago and I wanted to see the inside if it. We got there 45 minutes before the play started and found absolutely no parking anywhere close to the theater. There was a small parking lot a little bit up the road from the theater that said it was for the Stanley, but it was very small and totally full. We had to walk 5 or 6 blocks in the rain to get to the theater from the closest parking spot we could find. I wondered how the elderly, or people with little mobility was able to go to this theater. We got inside and found our seats. We have been to theaters all over the USA, we love to travel to see plays. I can say without hesitation, the Stanley has the worst sound system I have ever heard in a professional theater! It was lucky for me I knew the story of Mary Poppins, or I would not have been able to follow it at all! The music drowned out the singing voices, and when there was no music, the voices were all distorted. I was able to catch a word here and there, but that was it! I was so very disappointed in the theater!

The show was absolutely wonderful. It’s hard to believe they are high school students as it was very professional.

The acting was great but we couldn't hear/understand most of the cast.

What a phenomenal production! The cast was amazing, the accompanying music/singing was perfection and the sets were awesome. Our family had people aged 6, 8, 40 and 60-we all were completely entertained and in awe the entire time. Well done everyone!

I loved the stage displays. I also really enjoyed the singing. The tap dancing was fantastic!!!

Standing ovation mid show for the chimney sweeps! Amazing cast that brought tears to my eyes! Slow Burn you are top notch!!

I can see this was a hit with families. I like this smaller Amaturo Theater (but do not like the acoustics of the bigger Au-Rene Theater). Glad Slow Burn Theater Company is doing well bringing in these shows.

I have been a fan of Mary Poppins since I was a little girl. The Slow Burn Theatre Company outdid themselves! They put on an entertaining, theatrical production of Mary Poppins. This was definitely a show I'm glad I did not miss!!!

We really enjoyed Mary Poppins! The acting music was terrific. The children were wonderful. The set and costumes were great too!

Mary Poppins by the SlowBurn Theater Company, out did any production including the Broadway Tour. The casting of the leads including the "kids" was spot on. Mary herself looked as though she jumped right from the Disney film production to the stage. The energy and dancing were off the charts. THREE CHEERS to Patrick and his entire ensemble for putting on a first rate or better show. The audiences numerous standing ovations were well earned.
