My husband and I greatly enjoyed the show. The venue was great, however, we found the drinks somewhat spendy. Most of the performers were good, except the one that I didn't feel was authentic was Berry White. Overall, it was a great show with great music!
The show itself was pretty good but the seating was terrible! The room where they put the show on at Ilani was so packed you couldn’t move.or get in & out of row! Seats were all one level so hard to see over heads of people. Could barely see stage so they had two screens…. Could have sat home and had a better experience!
This concert was absolutely incredible!! All the performers were awesome, most of them sounded just like the original singers!! I can't wait to see them again!!
We felt like some of the songs were rushed, but more important they need to do the most popular songs for that group, some we did not know., but when they sang the popular song's the crowd Loved it. We saw alot of people leave early and some people just sat there like they were board. We were in the back.
PERFORMANCE WAS SOOOO GOOD. WE COULDNT STAY SEATED AND DANCED THRU THE WHOLE SHOW. I LOVE MOTOWN!!
Too loud, too much screeching, sound was off, too tinney. Dancers in front the whole time were distracting. Keep people in their seats! Several chairs were missing in our row, including ours, poor set up event management for not catching. Not a good experience.
Their were 4 of us in our group & we all agreed that the music was too loud..
Barry White, Rick James, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, etc., all brought back to life....and wearing road kill on their heads. That no joke, as the emcee said 112 times during this 2.5 hours Masoleum of Mowtown review.
First 1/2 of show was 8/10. Performers quite talented. The second half totally dragged with the MC going on and on about weather, his kids, etc trying his best at being funny. Wasn’t there for that! On top of that each member of the band then had to do their own instrumental solo, again to kill time I guess for costume changes....but nevertheless totalling annoying and sunk the 2nd half of the performance to a 2/10! Left before the finale.
The singers were very good, dancing was so-so ( not always together ). The sound in the first half was terrible. The soloist mics were not balanced properly to the back up singers. It happened almost every song. On one song , could not even hear soloist until 2nd verse. House lights flickered on/off 3 times in balcony. Come on! We paid $100/ ticket and expect a professional show !
