Exceptional Guitarist/Extraordinary Band
by Alco on 9/28/24I have been a Rock & Roll fan since the 60s and have been very fortunate to have seen Warren Haynes dozens of times over the decades playing with Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead/The Other Ones, and even a solo acoustic show on a farm in Warren Conn; and I can say with all certainty that Warren is one of the most creative, talented, and extraordinary guitar players/song writer that has graced the stage. His song writing is exceptional and soulful, I am still emotionally moved every time I hear Banks of the Deep End. Warren's ability to touch the depths of your heart with his lyrics is amazing, and maybe only exceeded by his guitar playing. I recently saw Mule playing a tribute to Pink Floyd's music and they were incredible. Although Mule may not have played every song that you may have wanted to hear the real extraordinary quality of their music is their creative jamming running through Warren's blazing guitar work; clearly the sum of the individual parts is geometrically greater then their exceptional individual parts. Warren is, in my humble opinion, one of the truly great song writers/musicians on the R&R scene today. Go see Mule and enjoy yourself!!
