Blackberry Smoke on Tour
Though they've had their biggest success in the country market, the guys in Blackberry Smoke are rock 'n' rollers at heart. When they hit the concert stage, that becomes immediately apparent, but of course, so does the twangy side of their sound. Ultimately, what comes across is a roots-rocking blend that incorporates the influences of classic Southern rock, '70s/'80s heartland rockers and yes, a dash of modern country. And whether they're delivering a chugging good-time tune like "Rock and Roll Again" or a reflective ballad like "Let Me Down Easy," what comes through the loudest is the band's authenticity. These ol' boys are the real deal, playing it their own way with no nonsense and no rock-star moves. And since they do exactly what they feel, don't be surprised if that extends to covers of songs by their favorite artists such as Little Feat, The Grateful Dead or Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Blackberry Smoke in Concert
Blackberry Smoke has always done things their own way, rising to stardom by building an audience from the ground up, remaining resolutely independent and staying true to their roots. The band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000, with singer/guitarist Charlie Starr, guitarist Paul Jackson, and brothers Richard and Brit Turner on bass and drums, respectively, and that lineup remained intact into their breakthrough and beyond, adding keyboardist Brandon Still in 2009. They released their debut album, Bad Luck Ain't No Crime, in 2003, but it wasn't until their third album, 2012's The Whippoorwill, that Blackberry Smoke started achieving major commercial traction. Their next record, 2015's Holding All the Roses, reached No. 1 on the country charts as well as No. 29 on the pop tally, underscoring the band's pan-genre appeal. Their homegrown blend of Southern rock and country has remained authentic and untainted through it all.

Easy parking short walk amazing venue. This is the best venue in Atlanta, Georgia, especially for disabled people That can walk due to its small size. It would be extremely difficult to have a wheelchair in this facility though. Blackberry smoke concert is phenomenal . Your security scanner is too small. It required me to be searched physically because I have a nerve stimulator in my right, and cannot go through your scanner.
This show was absolutely AMAZING! From the show put on by 49 Winchester to the guys and their special guests. Everything was perfect!! As usual, the boys were spot on all night and the Betty's, Princess and Daisha were all on fire!! Their voices are always so angelic! The guys could not have done a better job paying tribute to their lifelong friend and brother, Brit Turner. He was one incredibly special person who will be sorely missed forever by everyone he met and all that knew and loved him. Thank you for a very special evening!!!
The Brit Turner remembrance concert was an awesome spectacle. So much love and music along with some of our favorite fans. Best part of this band is the fans... sometimes
Blackberry Smoke was INCREDIBLE! Such a fun concert. Can’t wait to go see them again!
Blackberry Smoke always puts on an amazing show. They are the best sounding live band consistently that I have ever seen. Chastain Park is an excellent venue but for some reason they didn't open the gates until 7:00 for a show that started at 7:30. This caused the majority of the crowd to miss 49 Winchester who was the opening band. They are a great band as well and deserved to be seen.
Openers 49 Winchester were excellent. Band was great and 3 guitar "attack"was sweet. BlackBerry Smoke was in excellent form. Great lyrics, audience participation was in force for several songs. Fantastic back drop screen that featured Brother Britt in memorandum. Shed a tear for that night, special....
I was familiar with some of Blackberry Smoke’s songs. To hear them live, was on another level!! Great show!
The Blackberry Smoke show at Cadense Bank Amphitheater was an incredible show. I have seen the band several times and this may have been the best show I have ever seen them do. They were on point.
These guys put on a hell of a show every time! Great music, they pour their heart and soul into every song, always getting the crowd involved, just a big party with great fans, and they never disappoint!
