About
ENFORCER IN CONCERT:
Swedish speed metal quartet Enforcer has spent the past decade laying down the law with their blistering sound and hard-rocking live shows. The band is known for their purist approach to traditional metal, and they’ve amassed a loyal army of fans with their old-school sound and thrash-worthy performances. In concert Enforcer means business, kicking out menacingly titled anthems like “Destroyer” and “Black Angel” with an impressive blend of no-nonsense musicianship and theatrical metal showmanship. Frontman Olof Wikstrand cuts a commanding figure on stage, effortlessly recalling ‘80s metal icons with his luscious locks, leather outfits, and blood-curdling screams. With their 2015 album From Beyond still fresh in fans’ minds, Enforcer are set to destroy on their upcoming tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Enforcer formed in Arvika, Sweden in 2004, aligning themselves with the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal (NWOTM) movement that was picking up momentum at the time. They released the demo album Evil Attacker in 2005, and in 2008 they made their full-length studio debut with Into the Night. Critics praised the record’s timeless metal sound, and the band continued to impress on tour in support of the release. They followed up in 2010 with sophomore album Diamonds, another acclaimed release that helped them establish a US fanbase. In 2013 they released their third album Death By Fire, which they supported on tour with Belgian speed metal band Evil Invaders. Enforcer continued to fuel stateside buzz in 2015 with their fourth album From Beyond, a stellar record that has fans dying to catch them on tour.
