The music of Colony House--an indie rock band made up of brothers Will and Caleb Chapman ,as well as Scott Mills and Parke Cottrell--is playfully self-described as "landlocked surf rock." Their personal genre designation is as much inspired by their hometown of Franklin, Tenn. as their new album The Cannonballers is; "In short, Tennessee was the inspiration for this project," frontman Caleb Chapman says. "We got to see the seasons change and experience our home again for the first time in a long time. I think I was falling back in love with Tennessee, and I started revisiting some old memories and old relationships in my head that pertained to certain geographical locations as well as just emotional places I had spent my most formative years." The band's music is built on pillars of honesty, accessibility and family, and much of TheCannonballers is too: within 11 tracks, the band delves into where they come from and how a place, and its memories, have made them.

Everyone should get the chance to see this band! A group of young men at the top of their game. Couldn’t be kinder as people and the music is both exciting and cathartic.
I went into this concert blind, not knowing what to expect and I was taken away by how awesome they were. For a relatively young band, they had great stage presence and energy. I would not hesitate to see them again!
The band was excellent. I would’ve liked to heard the lead singer’s voice microphone be a little bit louder. Great venue, great crowd.
This band is incredible to see live! Colony House does a great job interacting with the audience and their music is phenomenal. Sound even better live than they do on record! If you like rock music and songs that give hope to the soul then you’ll love these boys.
Colony House always brings their best to the stage. High energy and their fans were loving it. Threw in some ballads -the tribute to their tutor who was the principal that was killed in the Nashville school shooting was heartfelt and a sweet tribute to her. Caleb and Will both went out into audience. Their opener, Little Image, was awesome and did a good job of connecting with the audience. The Belasco is such a cool venue. It’s an interesting old theater -if only the walls could talk. Staff was great and helpful. What a fun night!
They show started extremely late, and the time space between the bands is a lot
The house of blues venue was an incredible spot for the colony house and little image show. They both rocked it!
Amazing vibes, they really know how to get the crowd hyped up and mix their music. Started with hype songs, calmed it down and finished strong. I've seen a lot of smaller groups perform but I wish I could see this group again. All amazing performers
We brought our boys, 12&9 and we all loved it! We won tickets from 88.1Indie but I’ve been a fan for a while and wanted to catch them live. We were able to get a seat at the Verizon Up section which was almost empty when the representative noticed we had kids with us. The band was engaging and they even stopped a song when they noticed the crowd reacting to a person with a medical incident. We were happy that there first House of Blues experience was great.
