I had not heard much about this band before I decided to attend their concert. I felt that their music was upbeat and inspirational. I loved the "campfire"experience where the band moved off the stage to a place btween the more expensive seats and the cheaper seats. This made it easier for me to see them.
We absolutely loved the national parks concert at the Sandy amphitheater. They are breath of fresh air and have a really fun time up on stage which transfers to the crowd. I love their sound and I love that they sing about nature and the out of doors. I will definitely buy their albums and I would go to another concert of theirs!
I had a front row ticket with a VIP experience. Entry went smoothly, and we were treated to an acoustic version of Timber, a very personable and relaxed question and answer period followed by an acoustic version of Wildflower. Afterwards, we were able to get discounted merch and a signed poster. The merch line was slow, but we had plenty of time before the show started. Seaslak opened with a great sound and great harmonies, and I really enjoyed their set. The main opener, Elias Hix, was easy to listening, and a good set, as well. The National Parks came out with lots of energy, and kept it up through the entire set. The harmonies were on point, as usual. All four band members really delivered. At one point, they did a few songs back on top of the sound booth, towards the back half of the venue, Chance and Time, two favorites. Everyone sang along. The venue was clean, and the staff was nice. I do wish they would allow small point and shoot cameras in, though. It is one thing that causes me to reconsider when I attend shows there. I was in Row 1, Section 3, seat 10. The view from that seat was good, but in the past, the seats on the far end of that row have had somewhat poor visibility. Seats 10 and 12 were great, though. I definitely felt that the prices were kept reasonable and that I most certainly got my money's worth. Kudos to The National Parks for a great performance. I can't wait until next time.
Love The National Parks!! They definitely deserve an outdoor venue. It was perfect.
The National Parks sounded incredible live! They know how to work a crowd, and they were very encouraging. They moved on the stage with so much energy that I knew they were having just as much fun as the audience. If you ever have the chance to see them live, I highly recommend it! I hope I can attend another concert by them again someday.
I have loved this band for years and was so excited to see them in concert. They did not disappoint! They have so much energy and you can see how much they love performing, and how much they love their fans! Their music is fantastic and I can't wait to see them again!
They are such a fun band. Great energy, amazing songs, and we had a blast!! Highly recommend.
The National Parks has been a favorite of mine for a few years. The concert last Saturday night was truly amazing. They put on a great show with so much energy. The time went by so fast! I was sad when it was over. I would have happily sat through the whole concert all over again. I love this band!
Amazing show! Best night! Good people and spirit!
