About Bob Marley Comedian
Bob Marley Comedian Live
As a comedian who's done thousands of shows in over 15 countries, Bob Marley is one of American comedy's most seasoned performers. In 2010, he made history when he entered the Guinness Book of World Records by setting a new record for longest continuous stand-up routine at 40 hours. Yet in spite of all that time on the road and all that time talking, this native of Bangor, Maine, still has the unmistakable New England accent that's long been a signature of his unique and reliably sharp comedic sensibility.
Marley has been entertaining audiences since his professional debut at a health fair in Maine in 1991. He went on to hone his skills in the comedy clubs in Los Angeles and Boston before touring widely in the U.S. and internationally.
In 1999, Marley was cast as a detective in The Boondock Saints, the Boston-set crime thriller starring The Walking Dead 's Norman Reedus, which became one of the era's biggest cult hits. Marley reprised the role in the 2009 sequel The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. He also appeared as a stand-up on such shows as Late Night With Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Comics Unleashed and Comedy Central Presents.
Marley's many comedy albums include 3000 Shows Later (1997), I'm Tellin' You (2002) and Maine-iac on the Loose! (2008).
Bob Marley Comedian Background
A seasoned stand-up who couldn't be prouder of his New England roots, Bob Marley was born in 1967 in Bangor, Maine. (He jokes that his parents had no idea there was a singer with the same name.) He began performing professionally while attending the University of Maine at Farmington, making his stage debut at a health fair.
After becoming part of the comedy community in Boston, Marley developed an observational style that draws heavily on his life growing up in Maine. He continued to build his reputation as a uniquely skilled performer after moving to Los Angeles and performing on such shows as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson. He also toured nationally and internationally, becoming a regular at the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival and Just for Laughs in Montreal.
Marley made a major impression on viewers when he played a detective in the 1999 film hit The Boondock Saints, later reprising his role for the 2009 sequel.
Released in 1997, his comedy album 3000 Shows Later was the first in a series of over 25 CDs and DVDs that convey Marley's confidence, wit and New England–style charm as a live performer.

He was as funny as ever. His shows are so much fun. You laugh so hard from the time he starts until he finishes. I will try and see him as often as I can
We have gone to his shows for the last 6 years and have loved every one of them . His expressions when telling a joke is something that we have not seen other comedians do. He doesn’t have to use vulgar language to tell jokes which is another reason why we like him . When you leave one of his shows your stomach hurts from laughing so much. He is a must see!
This is the fifth or sixth time we've seen Bob and he never disappoints! We are laughing non stop during the whole show every time. We will be back again in February.
I didn’t want to go… would have missed a very funny guy!
Marley is so relatable and funny as a fellow New Englander. Laughed all the eye makeup off my face!
He was hilarious!! What a great show . He performed for over an hour
Loved Bob Marley ,he put on a great show. Our table had obstructed view and when purchasing the tickets there was no indication of this. I could have booked another table if I was given this information.
I laughed until I cried. Great venue; I will definitely will see him again.
We have seen Bob Marley many times. He does NOT disappoint. You can not be in a foul mood during a night with Bob Marley. Given the state of the world currently, Bob Marley is so refreshing. A couple of hours of pure laughter is much needed. We will see him again, for sure!!! Keep it up, Bob!
