Kevin James began his career as a stand-up on the Long Island comedy scene. After being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival, he signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom.
The King of Queens, which premiered in 1998, ran for nine seasons on CBS with James starring and executive producing, and it garnered him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The show concluded its run in 2007 but continues to air daily in syndication across the country and around the world. James also starred in, and executive produced The Crew, a sitcom set in the world of NASCAR and is currently developing a single camera comedy (both for Netflix).
James brought his stand-up act to TV with Sweat the Small Stuff, a one-hour special for Comedy Central. Kevin James and Ray Romano executive produced and starred in the HBO Sports Special Making the Cut: The Road to Pebble Beach; a documentary about the Pebble Beach Pro Am Golf Tournament that was nominated for a Sports Emmy. His second comedy special Never Don't Give Up premiered on Netflix to critical acclaim.
James was the producer, co-writer, and star of the hit comedies Paul Blart: Mall Cop 1 & 2, Zookeeper, and Here Comes The Boom. James made his feature film debut in Columbia Pictures' Hitch starring opposite Will Smith, and starred alongside Adam Sandler in Pixels, Grown Ups, Grown Ups 2, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, and Hubie Halloween. He starred in the feature True Memoirs of an International Assassin for Netflix, the independent action thriller Becky, and starred in and produced Home Team for Netflix.

Kevin was simply hilarious and is simply a true comic master! I highly recommend the show to everyone!
Gary and Kevin did an amazing job!!! Would definitely see again.
Great venue, great performer. Parking is ample, love wind creek!
Kevin James and Gary Valentine were funny. Just a heckler disrupted the comedic flow.
Kevin James was so funny but I am extremely disappointed in the length of the show. Total show time was 1 hour with Kevin James only on stage for about 45 minutes at most. Tickets were expensive for such a short show plus paying for parking at the venue ($30) plus gas and tolls to get to the venue. We traveled from Philly to Atlantic City for this show and it took us triple the amount of travel time (3 hours round trip) than it did to see the entire show. I have been to many stand up comedian shows and I expected 1 1/2 to 2 hour show even if the main act wasn’t that long there could have been a few opening comedians. There was only one who was mediocre and took up roughly 15 minutes of the show time.
I saw Kevin many years ago and really enjoyed the show, so I was excited to have an opportunity to see him again. This time I drove all the way from Philly to Atlantic City to see him. He was very funny, though one of his routines was so drawn out and repetitive and took up almost half the show which became boring and was a big disappointment. His brother, Gary Valentine was his opener for both shows I've seen and was very enjoyable.
OMG love Kevin James...truly a funny guy I'm so happy we went to this show ...Gotta love a Met Fan as well ????
We thought our cheeks would be hurting based on how funny KJ was on King of Queens. He was a bit negative and stayed on his topics too long. The event was overpriced for our experience.
I was excited about seeing Kevin James, who I loved on "King of Queens"and other shows, but I was disappointed. It was one long joke about being fat, which is actually body shaming even if he was making fun of himself. The jokes were OK. He also had this habit of playing with the water bottle caps every so often. Nate Bargatze was 1000 times better! And funnier.
