I enjoyed it immensely! The cast was a diverse ensemble of experienced, youth, and children dancers. They all did an awesome job! The children were an added delight!
The whole production was on point ! lol . My husband , whom had never watched a ballet was so impressed , with the grace and form of the dances . He said he will now go to another ballet . The male dancers with the leaps and steps wowed both of us . All of these thoughts and we didn’t mention our granddaughter was in it . Truly the staff did an outstanding job getting the girls ready . Thank you Ballet Va .
Ballet Virginia put on a lovely show here. Cinderella was the perfect blend of technical expertise, beautiful choreography, and humor! I thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance!
Simply awesome!! I have been to the Metropolitan in NYC and this performance was just as good, even better with the smaller venue. The orchestra music accompanied the performance magnificently. Looking forward to the next program at the Sandler Arts Theatre.
The 3 main characters, of course, were “people of color” while 99% of the audience was not. In the desire to be woke and “inclusive” the majority of this country was yet again not represented. Even worse, the 3 main dancers were not even that good. I saw many balance breaks, falling out of turns, poor leg extension etc. A disappointing performance all in the name of diversity. But given the “artistic director” I knew what to expect before the performance even started. Will never attend another performance unless an impartial judge of dance talent is at the helm.
I really enjoyed seeing the Nutcracker at Sandler. The cast was diverse, talented, and worked well together. The symphony was incredible! Definitely recommended.
It’s such a gorgeous production of the Nutcracker and I enjoy seeing it every year.
Excellent production, great venue, full orchestra (and even a choir), good dancers, cute kids, even a few dogs - and a ticket price that doesn't break the bank- everything you want in a Nutcracker to make the holidays bright!
Awesome show!! Dancers were so good. Love the roomy seats and helpful, pleasant employees! Definitely will become an annual event for me????
