Atlanta Rhythm Section Tickets

The whole performance was TOO LOUD. Everyone was playing/singing at the top of their range in a smallish auditorium (not a football field). Would much rather have an experience like listening to their records. Which I probably should have done instead of going to the concert. Disappointed!

ARS rocked, great musicians, I hope they come back!!

Great Show! Sounded great, musicianship was awesome! Nice intimate setting, loved the stories and interaction with the crowd!

I have been a fan of ARS for a long, long time. I am so happy that they are still together. It was wonderful seeing them perform at Mars Music Hall at the VBC! Y'all ROCK!

Justo wasn't there due to an illness, but Dave Anderson filled in admirably. Frankly, he sounded a lot like Ronnie Hammond; which is the ARS I grew up with.

ARS was awesome! We really enjoyed the venue in Huntsville Al. The lead singer was in the hospital. The singer who took his place was excellent! Sounded better than the 70’s!

The seats were a bit uncomfortable and a bit too close (not enough leg room) for a long concert. The cover band was excellent but played too long. ARS was excellent!

Atlanta Rhythm Section never disappoints!! Dave Anderson carried them through and the crowd loved it!! ARS is still an amazing band!!

Very good! Mars Music Hall is a great venue! The acoustics are outstanding! I thought the lead singer did an excellent job as I was worried about that the most. They played their tunes to the note which I really enjoy. Some bands try to over embellish on stage but not these guys. You hear the songs just like you loved hearing them before. The only thing I would critique is the sound engineers could have turned up the lead guitar(s). You couldn’t really hear it. Overall, excellent!

As far as the overall concert, I’ll give it a C. The opening band - I have no idea who they were - could have stayed at home. My wife and I, and several of the audience around us, were wishing they would just stop after the first two or three songs. We could not understand the lyrics, it was way too loud and just not pleasant. ARS, on the other hand did not disappoint. But, for some reason, maybe where we were sitting, the sound was never that clear. It was difficult to understand the lyrics, with or without earplugs. Not the worst concert we have attended but certainly not the best.
