A Mother's Day Celebration Tickets

This concert was not what I had expected it to be (not in a good way). I understand time limits but the time limit allotted for each person/group made it seem as though they were rushing through the songs. Jakalyn Carr and JJ Hairston were pretty good. As good as Yolanda Adams is, her set left a bad taste for a lot of people. No one was really responding to her singing; it seemed as if the whole place was sitting and not engaged...I was one of those people. I really came to see and hear John P Kee but was very disappointed. Less than 15 minutes into his set, people started leaving in droves. The sound was terrible and he just went from song to song so quick, you didn't have a chance to enjoy them. I felt like I had wasted my money.

We were very disappointed. The sound was off for the entire concert. Too loud, muffled and just plain ole unacceptable. The best performance was Jekalyn Carr. Ms Yolanda Adams was absolutely terrible in her choice of songs, and general attitude. She talked too much and sang too little! And left abruptly treating us, I felt, as if we were unimportant. I’ll never attend her concert again! She had been one of my favorite artists but clearly she’s lost something after all these years!

The sound in the coliseum was horrible. It was so loud you couldn’t even understand the words of the songs. We weren’t even sitting near the speakers. The concert might have been enjoyable if the acoustics were decent. As far as the concert goes, it was really weird to have a comedian in between each performance. It seemed kinda inappropriate at times. Gospel songs played in between probably would’ve been more appropriate.

The show was horrible! A waste of time and money. Yolonda Adams had no backup singers did a lot of talking was ready to leave the stage before her set was up. John P you couldn’t hear him keyboard was low in sound. I was very disappointed. Last year show in Hampton Va was lit but this one was trash!

If it weren't for Yolanda Adams and Jekalyn Carr it would have been a complete bust!!! I remember the original advertisement had Donnie McClurkin appearing. What happened??? John P. Kee was a disappointment. JJ Hairston was ok.

It wasn’t as packed as I thought with the big names, but that could be bc it was Mother’s Day. The seats were squished together. No consideration for hippie people. We literally were sitting on top of one another. Bathrooms definitely should’ve been tended to constantly. Jekalyn Carr set the entire show off. Tbh, could’ve really just enjoyed the concert with just her. She was a fireball. The show dwindled from there. It had its highs and lows. We still praised and worshipped our way through it all. The sound equipment was not good quality but again, it could’ve just been bad this day. Overall, the entire show was good because of Jekalyn Carr.

Terrible sound system! They ought to be glad the performers were Christians. Any other genre might've gone straight off on them!

While I am a huge fan of both Yolanda and John P Kee, I was very disappointed with the horrific sound system! I could not really hear the singers, as the bass was so loud, and the music sounded so awful the entire show! Yolanda seemed rushed and appeared to be singing to tracks. Just won’t be returning to Hampton Coliseum unless they update/improve their sound system!

Tickets were okay. I have some issue with height but it was worth the anxiety. Great show. Disappointed Yolanda Adams only performed for 30 minutes. ??

The atmosphere was so serene me and my friends really enjoyed ourselves. It was just beautiful. I plan to attend next year.
