With his ubiquitous 2010 hit “Toot It and Boot It,” rapper YG established himself as one of hip hop’s biggest rising talents. Born Keenan Jackson in 1990, YG released his first mixtape at just 18, quickly garnering a large internet following with songs like “She A Model” and “Aim Me” and attracting the attention of Def Jam execs, who signed him to the label in 2009. After being featured on the CTE World mixtape Boss Yo Life Up Gang in 2013, YG announced that his upcoming full-length debut would be produced by rapper Young Jeezy. “My Nigga” was released as the lead single to the album in September of 2013, reaching No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and marking his most successful single to date. In addition to a string of mixtapes released between 2008 and 2013, YG runs his own streetwear label 4Hunnid and his own record label Pu$haz Ink. On tour in 2013 with acts like TYGA and Yo Gotti, YG has earned a reputation among ticket buyers for a stage presence that belies his young age, fueling anticipation for his upcoming live concerts and the 2014 release of his debut full-length My Krazy Life.
Had a great time enjoyed every minute of it. Music was good his playlist was dope and the crowd was lit also.
This has to be my least favorite concert that I’ve ever been to. He came out almost 10’ o clock. He was so drunk on stage and he wasn’t even really rapping his songs. On top of that he had a BUNCH of people on stage with him. I don’t think I will ever go see him again.
It was okay.. i love YG but that concert too long and didn’t perform for long enough. WAYYY TOO MANY people on the stage, he kept getting lost on the crowd. We stood for like 3-4 hours for 45 mins of YG. I enjoyed his part tho, he did “relax” which is one of my FAVS. Not a lot of ppl knew that classic, so i appreciated it. I guess overall, I’m not tripping, i got what i paid for 5/10 for the shows entirety, but 7.5/10 for YG. It’s all love
Concert was okay, he came out 3-4 hours late so by then everyone was tired. Very little ventilation inside the venue.
Horrible! Took hours to come out on stage then didnt even rap, it was all lip sync. Very disappointed because when i saw him back in 2018 he was awesome…
It was a super good show, everybody from the opener to the special guests brought out throughout the set was dope. YG preformed for about an hour but never a dull moment, the DJ was dope too, and I highly recommend.
I really really love all his music but his set was under an hour. I would have loved a longer set. It was still a great experience but having us all wait for a set under an hour was a bit disappointing.
Doors opened at 7pm and he came out at 10:15pm for a 45 minute set. Each song was about 30 seconds to a minute long. It was a small venue and got really stuffy after a few minutes, despite there being AC.
Great show! But unprofessional super late! I hate when they are late.
The venue was too small for such a big artist, too many people we were being crushed by so many people, fights, throw up, sweat and BO it was not that fun. Yg was amazing but I definitely wouldn’t return to this venue.
