Friendly staff, bands were awesome. Really like the venue
The show AND audience AND staff was phenomenal. What a wonderful venue. Don’t let anyone tell you what to think. Go see Wookiefoot whenever you can INCLUDING in Uptown Minneapolis. Yes, we (Minneapolis) are still healing from the pandemic and trauma from 2020, but it’s better every day. I live 1/2 ish mile from the Uptown and walked there and back without any problems. My neighbors are warm and welcoming and people experiencing homelessness are also neighbors who deserve compassion and not condemnation.
1st band was fun,2nd ukulele beatbox artist had Quite the production and great voice to match 3rd up was somebody who had extremely good songwriting matching Michael franti style next up a very talented and authentic Scottish style bagpipes and drums core which made the night so much more then I ever expected not to mention great stage effects and dancers and acrobatic contortionist massive 3 headed dragon and giant squid tentacles to make the night complete with a good peaceful vibe throughout the 4 and a 1/2 hour journey in a fabulously revamped uptown theater full of great workers who made this a great experience for all! Bagpipes were the highlight of this psychedelic ordeal, more bagpipes can’t get enough bagpipes, just when you thought you had enough bagpipes you need more! We need more Wookiee foot type shows here. So proud they are from here in the TC
Great sound and views at this venue. I was sad there wasn’t any fire but otherwise the show was, well, FIRE! Wookiefoot never disappoints!
The venue was awesome. The crowd was outstanding...
