UCF Men’s Soccer at UCF Soccer Complex
Come out to the UCF Soccer and Track Complex as the Knights men’s soccer team competes in its seven-match schedule. The student- and young alumni-based Knights Watch supporters group helps to create an intimidating environment for visiting opponents.
2017 Season?
The Knights open a new era in men’s soccer with first-year head coach Scott Calabrese guiding the squad. Calabrese built programs at FIU and East Tennessee State before coming to Orlando. UCF returns the 2017 American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year in senior Matias Pyysalo. The Helsinki, Finland, native finished the 2016 campaign with 10 goals, including three game-winners, and five assists.?
Team History
UCF has made five trips to the NCAA Tournament with its last appearance coming in 2011, which included advancing to the second round in back-to-back campaigns. The Knights have captured three conference regular season titles, which occurred in consecutive years from 2002-2004. UCF has made two runs to The American Semifinals in its first four seasons in The American.
