GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter and musician Tyler Childers is "one of country music's most compelling and unpredictable artists" (Associated Press). Adding to an already triumphant career, Childers released his acclaimed new album, Rustin' In The Rain, this past fall via Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records, which includes the GRAMMY and ACM-nominated single, "In Your Love." Since its release, "In Your Love" has broken into the top 35 on the Mediabase Country chart, garnered over 10 million video views, 180 million on-demand streams and received praise from outlets such as NPR Music, Billboard, Pitchfork, Stereogum, The Advocate and Rolling Stone, who declares, "the music video of compassion and caring we need right now," while USA Today calls the video "a much-needed portrait of inclusivity." Since his 2017 debut, Childers has released three additional albums and performed countless sold-out shows across the world. Known for his electric live concerts, the Kentucky native recently kicked off his extensive "Mule Pull '24 Tour" with sold-out shows at Inglewood's Kia Forum, Austin's Moody Center, two nights at New York's Madison Square Garden and two nights at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, of which The Tennessean praised, "a powerfully emotional performance...[Childers] emerged in Nashville as a confident arena superstar." Additional tour stops include Chicago's United Center (sold out), Boulder's Folsom Field and Washington State's Gorge Amphitheatre (sold out) among many others.

Went to his concert at the George in Quincy, WA and let me start by saying you can watch a squirrel run across the stage and it would sounds and look good. Tyler has forgotten what got him on that stage. He said the last time he was there he opened for Lizzo well after the performance he must not have been humbled. Of his 100 great songs he played a mix of his gospel and while I know it is his new style I could've went to church to listen to that. I saw a mass exodus of fans leaving the venue as he continuously played his new music that judging by Spotify plays is far from his best. If you are thinking of getting a ticket to his concert do not he is in a place that is great for him but terrible for his fans. .
Great Show! TC put up with miserable weather to put on an excellent show!
***This review is in no way a negative reflection of the musicians or beauty of the venue.*** This was my worst experience at a concert, hands down. There was a fire that caused the venue to be completely evacuated. Then, rain delayed the start and at least one of the opening acts were cut. The line to get into the venue took 2+ hours to get through, so by the time we made it to our seats, we missed 2/3 of Nathaniel Ratliff. Tyler Childers started his performance and played very well until he cut his set short due to rain. I get that acts of God happen. However, when spending $500 on tickets and driving 4+ hours one-way to see a concert, you hope to leave with a better taste in your mouth. We hope to get to come back to the Gorge one day and experience it for all its glory. We 100% will be attending another Tyler Childers' concert!
The venue could inprovement on there evacuation and speaker system needs to go out to all areas people walking around couldn't even hear the evacuation order
Was quite frustrating to get through security and entry lines only to find out that we would then have to stand in line for another hour before we could enter the lawn seating area. Was pretty hard on the youngster we had with us too. He was a trooper, but by the time the line started moving he was about done with the whole thing. Why bother letting people in if they can't access the seating area and get settled? Seemed like a thinly veiled way to get people to spend more at the concession area. When the venue ended up being evacuated due to the storm, we waited a bit in our vehicle, but after discussing what had transpired earlier we weren't about to go through that whole rigamorole again and headed home instead. Judging from what we heard from others who stayed, it sounds like we made the right decision. Made for a pretty expensive waste of an afternoon/early evening. Oh, and lets not forget the thick clouds of pot smoke from vape pens that were continually wafting over us even well before the scheduled show time. I am no prude, and that usually doesn't bother me much, but it was so thick that we all ended up coughing more than once. Used to love attending concerts at The Gorge, but it gets a little less enjoyable each time.
I was super excited about Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night sweats opening for Tyler Childers. They were a phenomenal opener!! Let's be real, they could headline their own show! And Tyler Childers was EVERYTHING I had been waiting for since his show was cancelled due to the Covid shutdown back in 2020. He and his band are too notch. Tyler is clearly a perfectionist. Very articulate. It was so great for my heart to hear his music live. I will be seeing him perform again hopefully!
Tyler Childers was amazing as expected! He and his band played great through thunder, rain, and lightening. The venue on the other hand could use some improvement. There were limited updates on the issues at hand (they sent people back to vehicles and such because of lightening). There were no announcements, no updates unless you have an X account. The seating chart was unreadable. I was a little upset at how much I paid for folding chairs seat with sticker numbers on them that you couldn't even read and were not numbered correctly. My seats were 24 and 25 and we had a 17 and 48 right next to us, and a person on the other side of us actually had his number sticker come off the chair and stuck to his back. It felt completely unorganized when it came to the venue. But the concert itself was amazing. Tyler played amazing, with thunder and lightening and pouring rain. His openers did great as well too. But everything did feel rushed due to weather postponing the concert, and lack of communication on the venue.
The venue is spectacular, but for a completely sold out show I was surprised that there weren't any more restrooms. Of course, evacuating the venue and starting back up again I'm sure made it so everyone was taking their bathroom break at exactly the same time, but I waited almost 40 minutes in line to get to the bathroom. At first I waited down by the pit, and the line was not moving, so I headed all the way up to the top. People were exiting and entering in complete chaos just smashing into each other - we needed some crowd control or at least double the bathrooms to accommodate. I was confused why canned wine and beer couldn't be sold at the same concession stand? If I wanted a beer and my friend wanted wine, we had to wait in two different lines? Maybe just have the same options repeated at all the beer concession stands? I waited in line for about 20 minutes to order a can of wine only to learn they were sold out. Went to the only "wine"stand I could find and decided to order a bottle, but there was only one person working and they were STRUGGLING to get through the line. Seriously, it took them an entire song to get to a single customer. I missed the first three songs just waiting to get served. Maybe find a wine supplier that puts their wine in a concert friendly container so you don't have to decant it?
It was a very poor experience. I paid $900 to see Tyler Childers only perform 7 songs due to weather conditions after it was already delayed due to the weather. There was very little communication of delays and I feel like my experience was cut very short after traveling a very far distance. Tyler doesn't come to the Pacific Northwest often so with the potentially being my only opportunity to see him live I'm very let down. Also, when it came to our seats, we were unable to access them due to many people taking our seats. Very poor organization of the event.
