BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Tye Tribbet got his start as the frontman of Greater Anointing, a.k.a. GA, in 1997, establishing a huge cult following early on with high-energy local gigs in their New Jersey hometown. Their exciting live shows attracted the attention of producers Buster and Shavoni, who recruited GA to sing on the Prince of Egypt soundtrack a year later -- a gig that launched them to success virtually overnight. Since the release of their 2004 debut Life, Tribbett and company have toured with country greats like Faith Hill and Tim McGraw and performed alongside some of music's biggest legends including Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Gloria Estefan. Their modern gospel music challenges the traditional sounds of the genre, and their ability to push sonic boundaries earned them two Grammy Awards for the 2013 release Greater Than. Tribbett takes the stage solo on his latest tour as he preaches the Word through his music, and he'll treat fans to a hit-filled setlist at SpiritFest 2014: Real Fathers, Real Men.

I Pray for a Gospel Residency at the House of Blues for Tye Tribett or a Residency in general for Gospel artists. I enjoyed myself to the most Heavenly extent. The House of Blues staff was pleasant and handed out free water to everyone who needed. Thanks again Tye Tribett and allowing God to use you in a Radical way LOL! May you be continuously Blessed beyond measure!

I loved his music then. I love it even more now! He’s certainly grown! He preaches too! He gave us multi-gifts ( music, preaching, playing synthesizer etc) It was ????. Now when is he coming back?? Let us know so hopefully I can be in the building! He’s one of my favorite musical artists!! Go TYE!!! #Keep being one of the ambassador’s the body of Christ and people in the world need!!??

High energy level through the entire show and he kept bringing the audience to a place where they reconnect with and focus on God, something that is lost with some gospel artists in their attempt to "perform".
