Amazing venue and how awesome to see Big Boi and Trombone! This place is not the top of my list.
Trombone Shorty was Amazing full of energy and had the crowd in the palm of his hand. I'm a fan for life
He wore me out with his energy! I danced and sang until I lost my voice! One of the best show bands ever. Somehow, was luck enough to see him as a warm up band for Waren Haynes three years ago. I'm three shows in with Trombone Shorty and every minute of each show was full thottle fun! I will see him every chance I get!
To my liking the sound levels have increased too much lately making it less enjoyable. A little less volume would be the best, we know sound techs are deaf. Shorty was great, high energy, high quality New Orleans musicians as well, played almost continuously for 2 hours, great numbers featured everyone's talents
The concert was awesome, he had me on my feet most of the time, he was on stage. My only complaint was that I paid for parking and it was so unnecessary because there was no one there checking, and money wasted..
i have been to close to 1000 shows in my life, so here's my review. Meritage Napa needs to work on the details. Start with parking....the parking people are nice but act like this is their first day on the job, act like you should know where you're going (and industrial park across a 4 lane street) and that you will be paying $20 to do so. Better yet, they tell you that you need to have prepaid and so everyone scrambles to download an app, then find out they take cash. So, unlike Bill Graham, the experience doesn't start happy. The venue has the vibe of an airline terminal, right down to the food and drink choices, which are shockingly poor for a venue in the heart of food and wind country. HOWEVER, Shorty crushed it. I would see him again-for sure. But Blue Note needs to give Meritage a talking to, if they are going to represent their brand.
Spectacular???????? Second time I saw both first time I saw big boi at 19yrs old in SF and Trombone @ The Fillmore San Francisco. I’m blessed.
Great concert. They brought Noleans to Missoula. They got us up and dancing. ??
I had the best time at Trombone Shorty. What great energy!!! This has been my favorite concert this year. I hope to see him in Missoula again.
All three of us really enjoyed the show. Not only was shorty excellent but his band members and singers were energetic and entertaining
