Trippie Redd In Concert
When rapper Trippie Redd, aka Michael White, gets in front of an audience, it's less a performance and more a raw, unbridled parade of emotions. He reaches deep down to access his most intense feelings and share them with his audience. The passion, hatred, hope, mistrust, joy, sadness, anger, and love in his heart is laid bare for all to see. And of course, in the process, he trots out tunes that went viral and made him a million-selling artist before he was out of his teens, including such crowd-pleasers as "Love Scars," "Dark Knight Dummo," and "Taking a Walk." With a sound that blends hip-hop flow, R&B grooves, and moody alt-rock atmosphere, Trippie Redd is able to attract audiences from across the genre spectrum. He delivers a show full of urgency, intensity, and a visceral dose of street reality as it is experienced in America today.
Trippie Redd Background
Like so many who grabbed the brass ring before him, Trippie Redd came from humble circumstances but created a musical approach that endeared him to millions. He was born Michael White in Canton, Ohio, to an incarcerated father and a mother who had to shoulder the burden of parenthood alone. The budding performer soaked in the sounds of ‘90s R&B and hip-hop from his mother, and those influences fed his own musical vision, which revealed itself at an early age. By the time he was 17, Trippie Redd had released his first mixtape, 2017's ‘A Love Letter to You,' which busted through to the Billboard charts despite its indie origins. By the time 2018 rolled around, the precocious performer had himself a couple of platinum singles ("Love Scars" and "Dark Knight Dummo") and a No. 3 mixtape, ‘A Love Letter to You 3.' That same year, he got around to releasing his first full-length LP, ‘Life's a Trip,' taking it all the way to No. 4 on the Hot 100.
I indeed already miss the rage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We loved the show and the venue. Trippie Red brought energy as well as the people there.
I personally go to a lot of concerts and the standard performance time is 2 hours. Trippie came out at 9:10 and by 10:10 he was done so it was a very quick performance. In that regard I was disappointed. Also it looked like no money was put into the set of the stage. This is my 4th time seeing trippie and I don’t recall it being so brief before
This was my second time seeing Trippie Redd, My first time was seeing him at Juice WRLD day. Trippie Redd’s performance was incredible and I enjoyed it. I hope to continue.
Best show I’ve been to at the Steel House! The opening artist was mid but trippie put on a great show!
he kept making the songs cut out at the end, i didn’t pay for the crowd to sing.
Trippie was out in stage for a solid 2 hours. The energy was phenomenal and he even stayed to play a few more songs, even took a request. Don’t let these past reviews effect your decision. Just go.
Trippie showed up and showed out!!! over an hour long performance all the old hits!! 10/10 performance!
Saw Trippie in London and he was amazing. Performed some old bangers too. Over an hour he was on stage. Energy was crazy and the whole crowd was jumping.
The performance was not amazing whatsoever considering Trippie Redd only performed for 45 mins after making everyone wait two hours until he got on stage. He had an hour and 30 mins left to perform according to the ticket end time. On top of that he did not invite his friends that were on the Trippie Redd and Friends album, and did not say goodbye to his fans, simply left the stage and turned all the lights on. Very disappointing :(
