TONE LOC IN CONCERT:
Old school hip hop icon Tone Loc became rap royalty in the early ‘90s with seminal party anthems like “Wild Thing” and Funky Cold Medina”. Two decades later he’s got as much swagger as ever, taking fans on a dance-filled trip down memory lane every time he takes the stage to perform his beat-heavy hits. Loc’s conversational flow, sense of humor, and onstage energy always make for a good time, and his career-spanning sets on tour get ticket buyers moving and shaking “All Through the Night”.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Tone Loc was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he was involved with the SouthSide Compton Crips before leaving gang life to focus on music. He shot from relative obscurity to overnight stardom in 1988 when his debut single “Wild Thing” -- which was based on a Van Halen sample -- topped charts around the world. His rise continued with his 1989 debut album Loc-ed After Dark, a platinum-selling smash that became the second-ever rap album to top the Billboard 200 (the first was the Beastie Boys’ 1986 album Licensed to Ill). Loc’s1991 sophomore album Cool Hand Loc had less of a chart impact, but it still managed to land a Top 20 R&B hit with “All Through the Night” (feat. El DeBarge). Following a tour in support of the release Loc began acting, eventually becoming a successful voice actor with roles in FernGully: The Last Rainforest and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. He hasn’t released an album in more than two decades, but his reputation as a wicked performer continues to make him a staple at freestyle and old school hip hop festivals around the country.

Just a fun night with old school jams that we all love !!! First time at this venue and the view was great all around . Sound system was on point ! We had a great time !!!
The show was most fun I had at a show. Seats were awesome for an amazing price.
This was bad. No flow between artists. Color Me Badd only had two members and couldn't carry a tune. Vanilla Ice talked more then he rapped! Tone Loc was the best and had a great hype man. Overall very let down.
The seating and stage view was great. Bathrooms very close by to use in betwwen artist. Very esay to get in and bot to mention ot was at a casion.
Tone Loc was great the rest of the night was just soo
I wasn’t sure how long the concert would last when there was only like 7 songs between the 4 acts playing. BUT - I was treated to one of the best concerts ever. They all were fantastic! I had no idea Biz Markie was such a funny entertainer! Vanilla Ice rocked the house!!! Tone Loc was the perfect addition as he came back on with VI to perform. I loved it!!
Great concert! Awesome vibe! Good Venue! I would recommend these talented musicians to anyone what wanted an easy local concert.
It was a long drive to see about a hour show from both performances.
I loved the concert. Tone Loc had a DJ mixing all the old school songs we use to dance to. Along with the songs, on a huge screen behind them was the old school videos. Which was really cool to see. Twice a bunch of women got up on stage and dance with Tone, that was cool. I was good to relive all those old memories from back in the day. My husband liked the Color Me Badd part of the concert. He loved all the old R&B songs. He sang and danced along to to them.
