by Will on 8/6/24The Anthem - WashingtonThe Anthem is a great Soundstage venue. Very comfortable seats, roomy venue. Rakim performed a medley of hits backed by a DJ and small orchestra. Old school Hip Hop show full of 50+ hip hoppers enjoying a homage to the golden age of the genre. Nice Bar...but food not so good.

When Rakim performed my favorite song, 'Mahogany,' I nearly lost it! I'm pretty sure he could hear me singing along from my seat. The venue was top-notch, with comfortable seating and easy access to everything, which was great for a plus-size person like me. A+

by Hip Hop Enthusiast on 6/4/24Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana - GaryAll I can say is thankfully this show has other awesome performers in th ticket because this isn’t the first time I’ve purchased tickets with Rakim on the bill and he didn’t show or was extremely late. My date is a huge Rakim fan and this was a surprise for him and to be told Rakim was stuck in OH was a huge disappointment for us. So unfortunately as much as I am a fan of Rakim I will have to reconsider going to shows that he is booked for. There were so many disappointed attendees at the Gary, Indiana show. Chicago truly came out to represent only to be let down. I am hoping to never have to write a disappointing review like this again.
