TIM HICKS IN CONCERT:
Since his 2012 debut, country crooner Tim Hicks has already scored two Top 20 albums in his native Canada. His quick rise to stardom is thanks in no small part to his rollicking live concerts, where his warm personality and energetic showmanship always get ticket buyers feeling good. Whether he's performing with a full band or taking the stage solo with an acoustic guitar, Hicks impresses with his powerful voice, heartfelt lyrics, and no-frills onstage demeanor. From the booze-soaked poignancy of "She Don't Drink Whiskey Anymore" to the rallying-cry rowdiness of "Here Comes the Thunder", Tim Hicks always delivers a feel-good concert experience for the memory books.?
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Ontario-born Tim Hicks began taking music lessons at age six and formed his first band the following year. He struggled throughout his 20s to get a record contract, and in 2012 he got a big break when he was invited to open for Dallas Smith and Chad Brownlee on their Boys of Fall tour. A deal with Open Road Recordings followed soon after, and in 2013 Hicks released his debut album Throw Down. The record was a success, peaking at No. 16 on the Canadian Albums Chart and establishing him as one of the country's most dynamic young songwriting talents with Top 10 hits like "Get By" and "Hell Raisin' Good Time". 2014 proved another big year for the singer as he hit the road with Dierks Bentley for the Riser Tour and released his sophomore album 5:01. The album peaked at No. 7 in Canada, spawning another string of successful singles and generating major excitement among fans for his continued touring.

It was a different performance than what I am used too. But he did not disappoint. The whole thing was fantastic, loved the vibe, just like sitting around a campfire and having our own personal performer there singing his songs. Loved it.
It was my first time I was at the London music Hall, and it is an amazing event space for a very intimate concert setting. The sound was perfect the staff was friendly and Tim hicks puts on one hell of a show.
Amazing show!! Tim is such a genuine and engaging artist. Venue was perfect size.
It was my first concert and it was amazing. However at the end of the concert the guitarist threw a guitar pick at my girlfriend. She was so excited until the guitar pick fell short of her and ended up going down the crack in the pit floor. She was very upset and the security guard said “better luck next time”.
It was amazing music but was not able to stand in my seat and was told to stand at the back. While you were also told on the ticket to not use flashlights. But he was an amazing show that made you want to stand up even if it was at the back of the place. But the show also only lasted an hour and a half.
Great mix of tunes. Delivered solidly with full audience engagement. Rocking show in his own stomping ground. Time to head south of the border and show them how it's done.
I went to mainly see Tim Hicks, but he came across as a bit amateurish. A one point rolling out beachballs for the crowd to play with. At one point interrupting the show, to tell the crowd they must all standup or he might not continue. Strange, whatever happened to putting on such a good show, that the crowd just naturally gets on their feet? The bottomline is, I came to see Hicks but left the show liking Brownlee more.
Tim puts on a really awesome show! It's a night u can't forget. He is interactive with the fans and just knows how to have a good time on stage! He rocks it out whether it be a big crowd or a small one. I can't wait till he comes back to buy tickets and see him again!
