Loved Thurston Howell Band! Great music, talented singers and musicians! Frequent interaction with crowd! Fun night!

3 things. The venue Elevation 37 in Virginia Beach is great. First time there. Built for audiences that don't have the energy they used to when they were younger but still has areas where you can stand up and cut loose. Food and drink service is excellent. Simple menu - food came out quick. Cool guys on the door. Fast check with your tix ready on the app. Second, this band is fun. Whether you like yacht rock a lot or never heard of it before it didn't matter. The Thurston Howell Band has a blast up there and I'm convinced they would play the same in an empty house or a packed stadium with 1000s of people there. They had people enjoying themselves right out the gate. Solid musicianship, great vocals, and the sound levels were managed so you didn't lose your voice at the end of the night talking to people next to you. Third, the whole thing ran on time - I'm talking GPS atomic clock precision. Super professional and something I don't take for granted when going to a show. Like the band says - You can't fake smooth. You should definitely go see them and bring your whole crew - there's something for everyone. Also Elevation 37 (the venue) has their stuff together. My new go-to for seeing bands in Tidewater area of VA.
