Not all the hits
by Doozi on 11/10/24Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - GreensboroI think they didn't have rights to all the music so they couldn't play all the hits. Not so much about his life either. I was disappointed.

It was a fun evening that brought wonderful memories! The crowd was up singing and dancing, having a great time!
It was amazing and I had a really good time. George came to life. I wish he sang "Careless Whisper". The crowd loved it! I hope they came back again to Greensboro.
This concert wasn't the greatest I've ever been to. But it was pretty good. The singers were really good though!
I really wasn’t sure what to expect from this show, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! The different performers each had their own sort of charisma and they both did well performing George’s greatest hits. Too bad the show was for one night only.
We enjoyed everything.! My wife is the real George Michael fan in our household, but I enjoyed it as well. Not as much as she did, of course, but quite a bit. The band was excellent as well.
I had seen MJ and the Life of Rick James. I thought this would be like a musical with actors and singing George Michael music while telling his life. It was actually a concert and really quick information about his life. A couple songs that were song were not my favorite. George Michael was deep. I wish I could have heard more of the richest songs from his adult life. Listen to "Ladies and Gentlemen, The Best of George Michael. I miss you GM.
There was a lot of energy in the show and the audience participation made it feel like a 2 hour karaoke session! The band was amazing, especially the guy playing bass! Would recommend for fans of George Michael’s music!
The music was great but overall a bit disappointing as there was very little about his life and some of the music was out of sequence or wasn’t given context. So basically it was just a good performance by a tribute band.
I thought this was a musical about George Michael not a cover band with narration in between the songs. I’m not sure who decided what songs to sing but the choices were terrible. At least 50% of the songs I did not know - 6 of us went and we all agreed on this. George Michael has so many hits, why weren’t all of these done instead?
