We didn't know how an act could sustain a whole show with just juggling and humor, but the Karamazov Brothers showed us! They were so creative, so funny, so exciting to watch that we were blown away. We laughed until we cried and we were awed by their ability. We'd love to see the show again and again.
A friend invited me to attend the performance of "The Flying Kramazov Brothers." I have to admit that this was not something I considered would be of equal calibre to "The Lion King" or "Ma Ma Mia" but I attended and it was refreshing and wonderful. The juggling acts were superb. The performers were multi talented and not only juggled, but sang, played instruments, danced...They were hilarious and talented. It was a very enjoyable evening of vaudeville type acts that kept the audience laughing and happy through the full performance. I am very happy I decided to go to the show.
If you have seen them any place but live it doesn't do it justice. An unbelievable show. Can't wait to see them again!
I was embarrassed sitting next (seating is 'cozy') to two older gentlemen due to the 'nightclub' level of humor. I hope most of the youngsters in attendance didn't catch/understand......jacking off, or popping your rocks. Would have been great in a nightclub but not certainly for kids....too bad because the juggling was terrific and skits very funny. Would have been easy to 'clean it up'.....don't know why they didn't considering the obvious family crowd.
I saw the Flying Karamazovs when I was a kid, and now I had the pleasure of taking my own kids to see them. They may have a couple of different players, but they are still amazing! When I mentioned to friends that we were going to the show, and they asked what it was, I had a hard time explaining, of course - juggling... and music and comedy and dancing and silliness. My kids' eyes were glued to the stage the entire time, and they laughed and laughed. 90 solid minutes of fun.
We were looking for a family ngiht out with our kids who are older (16 and 21) and this seemed like a good option. Our tickets were for Sat night vs. the day time show. The humor was definitely geared towards the older crowd rather than for younger kids so we liked it. The performance was light hearted and you cannot overlook the amazing juggling skills. I liked the variety of clever puns along with the actual juggling. It was a good show and we were all entertained.
These guys are a riot, from first to last. A non stop stream of commentary puctuated with good puns, bad puns, double entendres, ad libs off the crowd and each other...it was like listening to Groucho Marx on too many espressos. Add some very clever (and hysterical) choreography (the ballet sequence was a rip) and it was a complete show. All of this hi-lighted by some truly world class juggling. They made the high level of difficulty look very easy - all the while keeping up the commentary! My wife and I had a truly enjoyable evening provided by four extremely talented and entertaining individuals! We'll look forward to seeing them again in future. Oh, and bring the kids!! Family fun at its best!!!
not what we expected...I thought it would be more circus like with trapeze....the juggling was great but the "script" was only somewhat amusing and the kids (8 and 10) were bored.
enjoyable theatrics - though it was not quite there - the juggling to music while all performers being in sync was impressive as were other of their juggling in sync - but it lacked -- perhaps some difficult individual juggling with more than 3 items or more up tempo music would add excitement. But definitely was a nice evening of entertainment
I loved the show. It was rapid fire and always entertaining. Non-stop laughs.
