Suzanne is hilarious. The Civic Stage,,,,not so much

Suzanne Westenhoefer has been performing her comedy for quite a few years (just saying' -- I won't say how many, or even the first time we saw her perform). She started out at a couple of clubs on Capital Hill before settling into The Birchmere. Oh, did I mention she's a lesbian comic? Now, now, settle down. Her humor has lesbians, gays, and even the few adventurous straight people laughing from the time she hits the stage. Her comedy stay fresh and timely because there are always people doing stupid things that Suzanne loves to point out. The way she moves from one story to another is nothing short of brilliant. I remember an earlier routine about her life in Amish country or her being awe-struck when meeting Martina, Billie Jean and Elton. Her humor is so fresh it doesn't even have an expiration date on it. If your a lesbian or a gay guy and you haven't experienced Suzanne, shame on you. Go see her and you'll laugh your "hmm-hmm" off. Even if your straight you'll be surprised and amazed at just how funny she is -- just sayin'

Great show. Really played to your audience, even the straight girls by the stage. As it turns out, a crazy series of injuries can lead to laughs. Thank for coming to DC! We'll be back.

The show was great! The Birchmerewas ok. To get good seats you had a long wait... but at least there was a bar. Food was overpriced and not that good. Cool place and a nice night!!

She is absolutely at the top of her game...she was HILARIOUS this time and gave a very long show. So refreshing to have such a brilliantly funny comedian and delivers. She is the best, wish I could see a show like that every weekend.

I have seen Suzanne W. perform at least eight times. Saturday's performance was the best I have seen. Her timing and facial expressions were perfect. She displayed her extemporaneous ability several times. I highly recommend that you see her her soon.
