The All-American Rejects wrapped up the summer of 2013 as the main support act on Blink-182's 20th Anniversary Tour, but the quartet from Stillwater, Oklahoma, is no stranger to headlining their own tours. They hit the road for the first time back in 2001 and have been delighting ticket holders ever since with their captivating, high-energy performances. Their hook-laden music has a tendency to scoop listeners up with its catchy melodies and tasteful pop arrangements. After forming in 1999, the band reached critical acclaim with their 2003 debut album, The All-American Rejects. The record went platinum and featured the single "Swing, Swing." Since then, they have stayed on the pop-chart radar with half a dozen more hit singles, including "Dirty Little Secret," "Move Along" and "Gives You Hell." Their impressive career has landed them two platinum albums, one gold album and worldwide sales of over 10 million records.
Speaking of worldwide, The All-American Rejects' romp across the international stage recently found them in Malaysia, gracing the stage in concert in Kuala Lumpur with fellow rockers The Wanted and Five For Fighting. The band's tremendous climb up from humble middle-American roots rings poignant with music lovers, and their fan base continues to grow with their success. They engage fans on YouTube and Twitter with their down-to-earth, boy-down-the-block, easygoing attitudes. Not to be blinded by technology, they keep their collective thumb on the pulse of the past. Lead singer Tyson Ritter admits to being a "total vinyl kid" and collecting records from Miles Davis and ELO. The singer also recently released a solo song, entitled "Air," in an attempt to tide fans over until the next album.
Spectacular performance. Would LOVE to see them again anytime.
Best experience ever. I love Tyson Ritter. My soul connected w the band. A Time to remember.
Tyson Ritter and the boys took us on a magical time travel trip back to our youth with an electrifying show that played all the hits with aplomb and some surprises. They were virtually bouncing off the walls like it was 2005 and they even look like they haven't aged a day. Shout-out to the Choctaw Casino venue for being super ADA and wheelchair friendly and re-seating us in an appropriate spot when we realized we had accidentally gotten a high table.
I’ve been a fan of All-American Rejects for over 20 years, and anytime I’ve seen them perform, it’s always a great show. It’s fun, it’s entertaining, and their music is timeless. For any show you ever attend, there’s always a “worth the price of admission” song, and for me it’s hearing them perform “Move Along”.
Great performance by the band, nice venue. Can’t wait to catch them again.
I hadn’t sent the Rejects live in like 20 years. They still got it! Super fun high energy show. I will not let that long pass again before I see them!
The concert was fantastic. The venue made the experience feel more intimate, like there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. AAR brought a fantastic energy and really put it all out there. My only complaint is I wish the concert was longer!
Where to begin. The show was amazing! Very fun and high energy! The venue was great as well.
One of the best concerts I’ve seen in awhile! Love the energy of the band and lead singer! Bringing me back to my early childhood!
This was the first opportunity I have had to see AAR live, and they did not disappoint. They were very appreciative of the crowd, gave a high energy performance, and played every song as if there was no other song they would rather be playing. I loved the variety of songs they played of each album and the singles they included. They were well worth the price, and I would see them again.
